3rd time here ever since it opened around 2015. Only 5 exclusive units that looked onto the twin ridges of the fog shrouded mountains in the national park. A lot has changed over the years. The stylish café above has now expanded. There is now a restaurant block cast in glass and a new hotel rendered in grey like a Star Trek Borg Cube is now under construction by this same establishment. There is also now a parking lot and still, all these developments are not able to cope with the marauding horde of weekend and holiday crowds. This mountain where Pino Latte stands had gain popularity at an exponential rate. With popularity then comes unrestrained developments by other investors. There are multiple resorts encroaching on this once desolated mountain. There is one big Chinese restaurant further up the narrow road. I used to gaze out from behind our unit in Pino Latte back in 2015. It was only pleasant green and the two futuristic star-dock structures of the café above. Now as I gazed the surrounding, it is a chaotic clutter of property un-synch with the once mystical avant-garde vibes which the lone Pino Latte used to offer. I still like Pino Latte even though the price for a night’s stay is rather extravagant. On the right day with the right combination of climatic events, misty fog mask out the new eyesores that were constructed in recent years. And rooms are well maintained, they did not deteriorate too much in this humid environment from the first 2 times I was here. Breakfast is now served in the restaurant block instead of the common café where public guest aplenty. Ala-carte styled, perfect scrambled eggs and grilled asparagus I had. We also had the boiled rice which was served centerstage in a large dim sum bamboo basket surrounded by an assortment of condiments. The food layout was certainly trendy. All good things said, the noncontrollable factor of stampeding weekend crowds plus the excessive destruction of surrounding nature probably means this is the last time I am going to be here. This region has lost her magical touch. I wish we can turn back the clock, but we know we can’t.

Turn Back the Clock, we Cannot

We had a bungalow, very hi quality construction and well furnished with fantastic view to watch the sun come up.  Staff very kind and provided great service.  You can park your car next to the bungalows.  Cannot describe how great our stay here was so including a few photos.  Great balcony with large lying chair which can easily fit a few kids at a time.  We will be back with more of our family!

Was in Khao Kho 4 to 7th of October, visited the near by temple and then headed off the famous Pino Latte Cafe'. No seats available as many folks just seating without food or drink gazing at the scenery, ordered food Burger, Pasta and salad... had to queue up to make payment long, long lines and slow, paid and waited and waited and waited, finally the buzzer sounds and I collect the food. Looked amazing... cut into the burger was totally raw, called the waiting staff and hot it returned, first of all ordered beef was charged for pork, spent another 10 minutes for the staff to correct to beef, eventually got the beef burger, I rather eat the soles of my shoes was terrible and disgusting. The salad was all lettuce and the pastas were tasteless. A bug money making venue. As there is no other choice. However, the scenery is amazing, that the best compliment I could give. Juat a rip off.
They serve a rainbow cake and if you looked around 90% of peole left the cake unfinished, that suggests something is not quite right.

Uncooked burger poor quality food

A must go place when you go to Khao Kho. It’s a nice place to have a rest especially when it’s less busy and fewer people are around. The view is beautiful and the breeze during December is comfortable. We also had dinner there and the food was delicious!

Great place to see the sun rise over the mountains. Café opens early for coffee, and the views from different levels were great.
Gardens with colourful flowers made a great foreground for photos. Good clean restrooms available.

Great resort above the clouds in Khao Kho, Phetchabun.. also known as the Switzerland of Thailand !

Would have rated "Excellent" if not for the massive and long period of Blackout (power outages) in our resort "container room" during our stay there... !

Pino Latte Resort in Khao Kho, Phetchabun 

Arrived at the hotel at 6:15.  The restaurant closed at 6:30 and there’s no food after that so we had to order dinner then and eat it in the room - no beer, wine or alcohol at the restaurant.  I woke up at 6:00 for my morning coffee.  No coffee in the room (even though there is a coffee maker) and they won’t serve coffee at the restaurant until 7:00. 

Staff very rude and check is was very complicated with the whole dinner ordering ordeal.  I speak a little Thai but the staff would not entertain any discussions with me.  They just pointed at their watch and the sign on the wall and showed me the door. 

Not really a resort, more like a coffee shop with a few rooms to rent out.  

Nice room but that’s it

Had been up here to the to the temple last year but didnt know about this place. Found it this time. Would have loved to stay in the resort but it is always fully booked.
Breakfast would have to do.
Had eggs benedict which was delicious.
They also do fantastic cakes 
Very freindly and western toilets
