1 reviewA few friends and I stayed here for five nights in May 2017 and fell in love with it. It's a bit outside of Chiang Mai - the taxis will grumble a bit - but it's so worth it. It feature old brickwork overgrown with ivy and huge trees in the middle of a large courtyard. The resort is right next to a woodworking community and has many gorgeous carved doors and windows. He rooms are clean and beautiful and the staff is wonderfully friendly and cheerful. They also offer free breakfast! I highly, highly recommend the Resort Baan Tawai.
