Hotel Ocean Vista & Spa

From the outside, the facade of hotel looks old & very normal. Once you step into the rooms, it is a totally different world! The music turns on automatically once u insert the key card. We had a double & triple room for 5 of us. The double room was super huge; the triple room was super humongous! There is a separate toilet, a bath & a sauna - all side by side. And a big jacuzzi room with TV. The floors are marble laid, which enhances luxury feel. However the TV is old- not the LCD flat type but the old bulky type. But TV is not an issue. The rooms were well maintained & one can feel the super luxurious pampering ambience. It's more like a small luxury apartment than a standard fare hotel room. In fact, it is like more like a ' Big Luxurious Suite. ' Due to the rooms size, there are only 4 rooms per floor & really, this is a small exclusive hotel. Even the floors lobby outside the rooms looks great. The hotel is located in a quite contryside area, up on a slight hilltop; overlooking the sea & mountains. Great tranquil & cooling environment with fresh ocean breeze. This has got to be the biggest & most luxurious hotel room that we have ever stayed in so many years of travelling. Breakfast is simple though. Suppose because it is a small hotel, they can't prepare too wide range. Only negative side that is that the bath water flows into the outside & flooded the floors. This is due to the design- no ledge to prevent water flowing out. Pretty slippery- I wasn't aware of this & actually slipped. There is a small sign warning about slippery floor but frankly which guest really knows about the extent of this problem. Otherwise this hotel is highly recommended if you want an exclusive luxurious experience.
