The hospitality was perfect, the rooms were clean and spacious. The home made breakfast was really nice, healthy and nutritious. Furthermore, they offer free bicycles for neighborhood exploration. I highly recommend this B&B in Hualien. 

Excellent, the best B&B we ever had

We stayed at the Flower Villa for four nights. Which at least means four breakfasts, lovingly made by the owner couple. The result is visually appealing as well as very good food. Welcoming atmosphere and all those positives come with a very personal touch. That makes Flower Villa one of a kind. The three of us shared a double with an extra bed. That was our choice and perhaps we should have opted for more space. Having said that, the room was comfortable and equipped with nice furniture, showing what we thought to be an Indonesian touch. Not home away from home, but really feeling comfortable in a place others organize very effectively. 
We had a car to drive the 15 mins to downtown Hualien, which is a few very lively streets with good food. There is a very good dumpling place we forgot the name of but needs mentioning. The moment you see a crowd waiting in line for the take away you know you reached the right corner. Sit down and order, which will require the help of someone speaking English. Easy to find. 
Access to Taroko is easy if you have a car. 40 minutes drive. Do a trail or two. Inevitable. Breathtaking.

Flower Villa is definitely worth its price! When we arrived, the husband of the owner of the villa arrived in his car to pick us up from the Hualien station. It was about a 10 minutes drive to the Villa itself. 

When we first entered the villa, we were welcomed by the fascinating view of the mountains and farms facing the villa. The villa had a small garden and a terrace with lots of flowers. 

As seen below, the villa’s first floor consists of a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and the owners’ living space. The dining room is very spacious and provides ample space for visitors to dine in. Furthermore, the villa is also decorated with a Balinese -themed furniture, warm lighting, and soothing music to contribute to the welcoming ambience. 

The owner of the villa welcomed us with drinks and snacks, as she handed us a map with which she informed us about the attractions in Hualien and where to eat. 

There is also an elevator within the villa itself, so you do not have to worry about dragging your luggage bags up the stairs. The villa only has only 3 floors, so it really does seem like a proper “ming shu” (home stay). 

My family and I booked 2 rooms- 1 for my 2 kids and 1 for my husband and myself. Both rooms were equally beautiful! The rooms that we booked were the “King Room with Mountain View” and “Room with Terrace”. The rooms were very tastefully decorated with warm lighting and beautiful ornaments. Furthermore, the beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were very soft. I must say that the rooms make you feel as if you are already at home! 

To be honest, the Mountain View is actually visible from both rooms. The room with the terrace actually has stairs leading up from the terrace to the roof, which has an even more spectacular view of the mountains at the Taroko National Park. 

Aside from the warm ambience and friendliness of the owners, the breakfast (which is prepared by both of them) is absolutely delicious!! On the first day, the wife served us a beautiful platter of thick-cut noodles with prawn, fruit, and seaweed soup. Trust me, it’s as good as it sounds! On the second day, we were served a “western breakfast” with a ham, egg, cheese and lettuce sandwich, broccoli, corn, tomato with mint leaves, fruits and homemade yogurt. For us, the first breakfast was better but this one was still comparable in taste.

Overall, I would highly recommend Flower Villa to any tourists staying in Hualien.

這是個非常美麗的B&B民宿，不止房子外觀，室內的家具都是從印尼遠渡重洋而來，我們住的夜來香房睡的是柚木床組，房內的櫥櫃不只是柚木製造，上面還有美麗精細的雕刻，再搭上有花朵圖案窗簾，整個感覺非常的浪漫。而夜來香房的陽台望出去可以看見雲霧繚繞的美麗山景，真是個無法挑剔的好地方。民宿主人非常親切友善， 跟我們介紹很多景點及美食，住在這裏真的很享受。
入住的隔天早晨，主人特地為我們準備了純素食早點，令人感到相當窩心，早點的水果相當新鮮甜美，主人還說如果剛好是火龍果季節，還能夠提供鄰居種植鮮採的火龍果呢﹗聽到這裡，我已經開始盤算下次來這裡的時間了。
民宿也擁有絕佳的旅遊地理位置，附近有七腳川溪自行車道可以騎腳踏車，如果延著親山自行車道，可以經過日光、向陽、白雲、楓林等步道，如果想登山健行的話，真是非常方便，最後一直走親山自行車道可抵達蓮城蓮花園可以賞蓮花，另外第三級古蹟「慶修院」也在附近而已。所以光光是在民宿附近，就有許多好玩的地方，這次的入住，因為下雨的關係，只在七腳川溪騎了一小段自行車道，感到空氣非常的清新，希望下次能夠再來把這附近的景點都玩遍﹗
This is a very beautiful B & B, all their furniture are from Indonesia. In our room (No.301 ), the hand carved teak wood furniture combine with flower pattern curtains create a very romantic atmosphere. Also from the balcony we can see the beautiful misty mountains, which is really the main reason we chose this B & B. Wonderful hosts who made us feel  like family, they gave us great information on local attractions and food, made us feel very comfortable and at home.
The next morning, the lady host specially prepared a nice vegan dish for us, this just  really blew our minds. The fruit are very fresh and sweet, the coffee are made from beans roasted  by lady host , which tasted very good.

Highly recommend it... definitely worth coming back.

Flower Villa B&B is a wonderful place to stay at when visiting Hualien, located just outside the city centre, a ~15min drive by car away only!
We stayed for one night in a beautifully furnished room with two comfy king-sized double beds and en suite bathroom. Everything was very tidy and clean and the landlords are a friendly couple, who welcome every guest with local tips and directions on places for sightseeing and dining around the area. The entrance and living area is a light and homely place. Breakfast was lovingly prepared with sandwiches, egg and fresh fruit. The place is also wheelchair and luggage friendly equipped with an elevator.
We had a really lovely time here – thank you so much!
