Got the good deal from agoda.  Stayed in the queen bed room.  Nice dining area at level 1.  The room is ok for me, but may be small for some people.  For the 3 nights I stayed, they do not clear the rubbish in your room.  Guess I have to do them myself.  Otherwise it is generally clean when you go in.  Free green and red tea provided.  Rubber slippers provided as well.

When I was there at 11am, the reception was not there, so I just leave my luggage at the luggage storage area and then go for a walk in the city area.

not a bad place for the price

We are randomly walking from the train station and luckily found here. This place really nice, clean and amazing staff. Special thanks to the male reception who try his best to comunicate with us at whole stay. I used to stay from the standard hostel to 5 star hotel but i should said that Arch Inn is the best value of money. With the price of basically dormbed but we have a room with full amenities, private bathroom, minibar and kitchen 24 hours with tea, coffee, noodle, microwave... Highly recommend this place for everyone when travel to Hualien. Best of the best !!!!!!

Over expectation

Our group of 6 people booked 2 4-bed-room in Arch Inn. The hotel is just 5 minutes waking from Hualien station. The hotel is very clean, colourful and has nice decoration. 
The staffs are all friendly.
There are 2 7/11 convenient stores just 3 minutes walking from the hotel, some good local store around here also. 
The cost per night is really cheap, we definitely will consider back here next time :)

A cosy and nice stay near Hualien station

The hotel is very close to the train station and convenience stores. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. There is some free food/drinks available on the first floor. Our room had a window but it was very small and to high to be able to look out of.  There is a tourist bus that departs from the bus station near the train station for Taroko National Park. It was great to use. I also spent a day riding a bike around the town, which was a nice way to spend a day. There are a few bike rental places near the train station. Prices are very different so look around for a good deal.

3 day trip away from Taipei

Arch Inn is one of the best hostels in Hualien. First and foremost, the hostel is conveniently a 5-minute walk from the train station. Check-in was simple, the hostel was clean, safe, and air-conditioned. Most notably Arch Inn made you feel right at home with complimentary watermelon, papaya, ramen, coffee, and tea. Thank you for the great service!

Arch Inn is located above a 7-11 convenient store. We took the lift up to level 5 where the Inn lobby was and changed to another lift to our room at level 7.  This meant all guests or by passers must stop at level 5 in order to go to hotel rooms. There was always hotel staffs at the counter to look out for strangers. 

The room was spacious, clean and came with all the amenities together with a bathtub except safe box. Breakfast started from 7.30-10am at level 5 next to the hotel lobby. It was a buffet style that came with porridge, side dishes, breads, beverages and fruits. I personally loved their soya milk drink. 

Night market is just a stone away. This Inn is a definite excellent choice for people love or want to visit the night market. 

In the midst of LouDong Night Market

Offers both dorms and private rooms for very affordable prices. There’s a lift. Rooms are clean and air condition is working fine, Wi-fi signal strong. The kitchen area is awesome, you can use anything you’d like from the microwave to the fridge or oven. There’s free coffee, tea and instant noodle soups anytime you want. Would definitely go back there again. A bit outside of city Center but close to train station. Nearby you can easily rent a motorbike to explore the area and go to taroko. Great staff, very friendly. Close to 7 Eleven.

Not far from Railway Station, staff is nice and friendly, the hotel decoration is beautiful, we stayed in the twin room which the price is worth.
