Simple, cozy and affordable. The inn is a 15-min walk to marktplatz st. gallen or 5min on the bus. There’s a bus stop right outside of the inn.

Happy as Larry

Everything since the arrival is self service (you must pick up the keys from a post box) and then insider there's no one besides guests.Difficult to find the building and parking in the night (maybe would be good to send more specifications to the guests).

I think the system with the key box worked great. So the check in went very well, which was very pleasant. I also thought it was good otherwise. I immediately felt comfortable.- greetings :)

Cleaning, Quiet, Safe. Not far from the city center

Warning:  Nowhere on the listing of this hotel or during my booking process is it stated that the rooms are not en suite.  You have to share the bathroom with everyone in your hall.  If I had known that, I wouldn’t have booked this place.  Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, because there are none of those things in the shared bathroom.  Also, the heater didn’t work, and I was cold at night.The things I liked:  the very fast wifi and the laundry machines.  Although, the washing machine on the right didn’t spin and drain well, and my clothes were drenched.  And the dryer on the right didn’t work well either.  So, make sure you use the machines on the left.

When we first arrived, we felt that it was a bit further from the centre than we realised, but when we discovered that there were regular buses (generally every 5 - 10 minutes throughout the day) and only a short ride away it cancelled out our initial concern. We knew when we booked that it was basically bed and amenities only, but it proved to be exactly what we wanted and enabled us from paying "frightening" rates that were on being asked for elsewhere. The room and amenities were spotlessly clean, suited our requirements perfectly and at a very reasonable price in an otherwise expensive location.

I had a great stay at the Yellow Inn! The room was more spacious and comfortable than I was expecting. Also, the common area with a kitchen, washer and dryer was amazing. The self check-in was also very easy. All around a great stay.

Lovely Visit

From start to finish, every interaction we had on the property was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Very close to the main train station, with all the amenities needed on the inside. Huge thanks to Markus and his lovely staff!
