I have had two long stays at the Residence Cite-Verdaine hotel between January to June 2024 for a total of almost 5 months. The accomodation for me was quite comfortable. The room is cleaned twice a week (trash taken out, sheets and towels changed etc), its a three minute walk to the bus stop and tram station and a 7 minute walk to the Lake and Jet d'Eau water fountain. The bus #8 at the bus stop takes you straight to Nations (at the main UN offices-Palais des Nations) and OMS/BIT at WHO for those working for the UN (with stops in between). Its by the main high street that has two supermarkets and a walking distance of about 15 minutes to Gare Cornavin (the main train station). The hotel manager Frederic is very friendly and responds to any request. There is a laundromat just 6/7 minutes away from the hotel and the old town is at a walking distance. Highly recomended hotel to stay in when in Geneva. I would definately stay here again if I come back to Geneva.
