Perfect for families with kids, very practical to be next to the park. The room was ok, one of the mattresses in the bunk bed was very thin and uncomfortable to sleep in. The bedroom seemed old and overall a bit dirty.

Good

Comfy master bed with a tv on wall, the room included with 3 extra beds for kids/family. Good and adjustable ventilation. Good size bathroom includes soap and shampoo with mild fragrance, clean white towels. Overall good service and great breakfasts buffe.

Lisaberg hotel

We visited the hotel purely to visit the park. It was convenient for that that and getting into the centre of the town. The hotel was excellent. Check in was simple. We were a family of 4, with late teen kids. We had a family room so a king and some bunks with a trundle. The room was clean. The bathroom was great really nice walk in shower. We had tea and coffee in the room with a kettle: there was also a free safe. The bead were comfortable with a good topper and simple white cotton sheets. The AC worked well but it was not hot at all during our stay and we had the window open for air. The breakfast was included: the buffet was fantastic. One of my children is a vegan. Not a problem. We also ate at the evening buffet the first night which was also fine. This is a family hotel. We visited during the Swedish school holidays. There were a lot of families there. There is a slide from the first floor to the reception and if you use the stairs to go up from reception you always had to be careful of the kids running up and down and their shoes which were either at the bottom of the stairs or at the very top. But you could always just catch the lift. If you don’t like being around kids maybe choose another hotel.The hotel reminded me of the Alton Towers hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liseberg and the hotel: completely recommend it and would go back tomorrow for the scrambled eggs alone.

It’s a Liseberg must!

Was a very nice room with nice lighting, lots of space and a short walk from the city center very pleased!!

The hotel was nice and we like the room set up, but one of the kids mattresses the one practically on the floor made lots of noise. My daughter and I were kept awake by the noise. Another this was our air conditioning was off and we thought we got it to work, but when we got back late we realised it still wasn’t on. The room was too warm all night. It the air conditioning is off regularly the hotel should inform guests how to use it.

Diffentially a different sort of place but in a good way. With all the people coming and going our very nice rooms were very quiet. Staff were excellent . breakfast excellent and plenty of lifts.

We came here with our family of four (2 parents, 2 elementary school aged boys) and it was amazing for us all. Creative and fun decor was awesome! Cleanliness with number of kids there was impressive. Boys loved the bunk bed nook in our room. Location on stop of tram was convenient in addition to obvious proximity to Liseberg amusement park (and Universeum). Breakfast buffet was also fantastic. Rooftop bistro and bar was also great with views overlooking Liseberg. Would stay again easily if ever back in town.

Simply amazing!

24-6-18 hotel itself was great, very new and in superb condition. Just outside the hotel is a major construction works in progress.  On departure staff instructed us to meet our taxi at side entrance but taxis don’t know how to get to side entrance.

Only negative opinion for this hotel was that t did not replenish the tea and coffee taken, provide enough mugs in the room, not enough pillows for everyone and also did not replenish the towels in the bathroom for our stay.No writing paper, pen/pencil or telephone in the rooms.No USB ports for charging.Otherwise very nice.

Very unique place to stay. Nothing else like it.very close to tram station for ease of getting around.
