The bed and breakfast is conveniently located near the centre of the town, just at a 10 minutes walk from the train station, easy to reach walking or also by car, it is on a very beautiful house manned by a very kind and nice woman which is really nice and helpful in all the needs.
The rooms are comfortable and clean even if my one did not have many spaces where to store the stuff, there are common areas where to cook and have your meals and shared bathrooms.
There is a parking place in the front

Good location (whether you have a car or not), convenient to get the Inlandsbanan in the morning, as you can have breakfast from 6.30 onwards. You can stay in the main houses or get a stuga. Comfortable rooms, and good facilities in the kitchen to cook. Very clean. Probably, the best stay in Gällivare, having price-quality into account.

Best stay in Gällivare

I stayed for one night in August on my way to hike Kungsleden and Padjelanta. I had arrived at night after a very long flight from Seattle. It was nice to come to a cozy B&B instead of a  hotel. Also, the price was good value.  I was greeted warmly by the owner Marita. The breakfast in the morning was very good.  I needed to pick up some groceries for my hike so in the morning I had a 10 minute pleasant walk to the store. Also, the walk to the train and bus station is 10 minutes as well in the opposite direction.  So even though the B&B is not in the center of Gallivare the location is convenient. The only drawback of my stay was that I had to wait quite awhile to take a shower at night since there were some guests who were taking very long showers.  That is a trade off one faces sometimes when getting a room without a private bathroom.

A Smart Place to Stay in GallivareI

We spend an amazing stay in Gällivare and the B&B had a lot to do with that! Marita the owner is a lovely person! We stayed in a room upstairs with its own balcony. A kitchen is available for breakfast/lunch/dinner and fully equiped. The garden is also lovely if it's sunny! The price are also quite cheap compared to other hotels

Amazing stay in Gällivare

I went with 2 friends and we had an amazing stay there during Midsummer. We wanted to see the midnight sun from Dundret and we had a car, so this was quite a handy stay (and cheap). You can walk to the city centre or railway station in 15/20 min, where you will also find a supermarket.
The room is ok for 3 or 4 people and you have showers and toilets outside, everything clean and organized. You also have access to a kitchen (cosy with an excellent view!), or you can pay breakfast aside. The owner is very nice and friendly!

Nice value for money

Really comfy, welcoming B&B, with beautiful view over the town and across to Dunderet. Marita the  owner is one of the most friendly people you will ever meet, upon hearing it being my first experience of the Arctic Circle and cold temperatures I was handed enough hot chocolate powder and tea to last my entire stay. Only down-side perhaps, not huge choice for breakfast, but the petrol station few minutes walk does great hot food, and for price of from just £49 per night, you really can't complain

Home away from home

I took a group of students to stay at the bed and breakfast. It was perfect for them as it is small and containable for a group visit. The owner was very helpful and kept in contact with me prior to our visit. The small cabin does not have bathroom facilities and you have to go into the neighbouring cabin. Bit inconvenient on a cold night. However the group did not mind. The breakfast was good in a small dining room. My room was lovely and great views towards Dundret. It was great to have access to a small kitchen so we were able to make cups of tea and hot chocolate. There were no en suite facilities but the bathrooms were clean. This is a small but homely establishment I would go back again. Due to its value.
