we spent 2 nights in this homestay and we had the time to enjoy the warm welcome of our guests. 
The 2 rooms are directly in their house, a little bit aside the town, and 5 minutes walk from the lake.
You will embrace authenticity !
Excellent home made rice and curry !

Bed is a little bit tought, so be prepared. 
The separate, but private, bathroom is not an issue at all.

authentic, simple, charming

Wathsala and her family were wonderful during the two days we visited Gregory Lake Holiday Home. We found it very easy to find from the booking.com app and there is a small sign at the top of the stairs which lead down to her property. 
The place was very clean, the shower had hot water anytime and Wathsala cooked breakfast and dinner for us both days which was brilliant. 
It was the ideal place to unwind, a close walk to Gregory Lake and out of the busy town. The photos represent the property exactly as it is. 
We will be back if we find ourselves in Nuwara Eliya again! 

Lovely Homestay right by the lake with a rural view

What a cozy and cute homestay! The owner is really nice and kind, she can arrange tuctuc and whatever needed. We felt like home since we arrived, she received with hot tea. The room was clean and we could have a hot shower. Delicious rice and curries

Cozy homestay and lovely family

Difficult to locate.
The host was helpful and arranged for a transport for us to visit the local places though a little expensive than the others. 
Nice location Clean rooms and toilet. Wifi signal was ok. They allowed us to use their kitchen for basic cooking for kids.
The only drawback was they did not have enough blankets.

Nice stay with family

 It’s hard to find by google maps and there is no sign. Be aware many places has almost same name Gregory lake is just around. The owner Watsala was kind enough to come to us when we got the wrong place. It was raining and her place is downhill. Just to be aware if you have heavy luggage. But the rooms are big, clean and super comfortable. She welcome you with hot drink and sweets. Wi-Fi is strong enough and shower is good! It is chill so she provide good blankets for a good night sleep. A bit away from downtown but bus is just 7 min walk.
