Really convenient to bundula park, the hosts organised the pickup. The curry for dinner was delicious. Room
Was clean and well presented. We had an excellent trip into the park with a very knowledgeable guide. We saw lots of birds and animals including monkeys and crocs.

Really good place! Clean air conditioned rooms and very clean washrooms. Kamal prepared a really nice breakfast for us too. Best economical place to stay if you want to do a quick Safari to Bundala National Park. Definitely recommending Lagoon Inn!

Clean spatious rooms, observation tower faced to the park, beautifull garden with small ponds. Orchids, trees with birds nest. They serve delitious food, breakfast and dinner, also they sell water. Kamal the owner organize jeep for safari. All Are Věry nice And helpfull.

very relaxing place with lovely hosts. they take care of all your beeds without being pushy. I felt immediately at home and had no worries. they also offer a very generous and tasty dinner and help can organize tpurs to any of the national parks

Located ať the bus stop, ať the park entrance, in a beautifull garden. Helpfull owner, organized fór us  longer half day Bundala safari. The house kept clean. Amazing view to the nature, sunset from the 3 flor observing tower. Highly recommended.

Owner is a very freindly man, he helped us with organising safari in nearby Bundala National Park. Room was a good value for its price, it was clean, with working air conditiong and ceiling fan. We loved the food.

This is a simple, good value place to stay and an excellent base for a safari.  The owner, Kamal, will organise that for you.  We stayed two nights and did two trips, one to the adjacent Bundela park which has phenomenal bird life, the second to Uda Welawa park, where the main attraction is the animals - monkeys, jackels, lizards and, of course, the elephants for which it is renowned.   And the big plus was our guide who was extraordinarily sharp-eyed, pointing us to so many of the smaller but fascinating beasties we would otherwise have missed.  We had around 4 hours in each park, but the time flies by.  A wonderful experience.

A nice place located next to the bundala national park. Good value for money, very nice people, good homemade food, relaxing visit in the national park. Recommended for an authentic stay in Sri Lanka. 

We stayed here for one night before our safari. We arrived about 6.30pm and were the only guests. We had some delicious vegetable noodles for dinner and breakfast of eggs, toast and fruit was provided once we had returned from the safari the next morning. 

Pick up at 6am for our safari and you are literally on the park's doorstep!

The room was clean, there was a good shower in the bathroom and the room had AC. A good price as well.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lagoon Inn. The guesthouse was basic but clean with lovely views over a lagoon on the edge of Bundala. Just sitting on the terrace for a couple of hours we saw a lot of different and very beautiful birds in the lagoon and garden. The wifi connection here is probably the best we had for most of our stay in Sri Lanka. A weaker connection in the rooms but very good on the balcony and terrace. 

The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They do offer a Safari but did not push it, as we had already organised one before we had arrived. The breakfast was basic but very nice and the dinner was delicious. 

The location is fantastic for entering Bundala but not much else around if you want to go out for lunch or dinner. 

Breakfast is not included which is unsurprising at the price of the room. I'd have to disagree with some other reviews because the breakfast, dinner and room are very well priced and good value for money. At no point did I feel overcharged.

A lovely stay, lovely hosts. Would recommend if you want something basic, clean and good value for money.
