Okay it has some limitations, but unbeatably good for the price. It's indeed not easy to find but any tuk driver should be able, and I managed to walk it with some luggage from the bus stand in 30 mins, asking directions only once, with proper Google Maps instructions. (Tuk prices were far too high compared to metered tuk fixed price). Walked for dinner to the harbour area in 15 mins, and even though the streets were well lit took me some time to find the place back afterwards ;-) As Booking.com gave a free upgrade to apartment including breakfast, I'll base the review on a normal room for USD 20 excluding breakfast. And even that is excellent value for money seeing location, small but clean pool, fast WiFi, AC and spacious rooms. Friendly service and nice continental breakfast added to this makes Sholay a great option for visiting Galle!
