This is a small homestay not very far from the ort city center area on the Galle highway. The hosts are very friendly and caring. Great Sri Lankan breakfast. MY irst introduction to sambal. Rooms are o moderate size and very neat. However the bathroom is a shared one between 2 rooms.

We chose this place due to only 2 reviews that were pretty positive and it was away from the center but close enough to walk, around 30 minutes. 
We arrived late in the evening at around 8pm as the homestay taxi broke down so we had to take alternative transport.

On arrival we were led down some dark alleyways to a house in the center of a neighbourhood, something unexpected but nice to get away from the bustling streets. We were shown our room up some stairs leading through the lounge into the room, quite small but enough for 2 persons with a large double bed. 
We booked an ensuite room however we found out that the bathroom was on the outside, approx 5m from the room, which wasnt a problem as they only have 2 rooms, with the other being a real ensuite room with a bathroom inside. The owner told us the bathroom is only for us as there is no one else here.....so we thought at 4am 2 people were using our bathroom, who, i have no idea.

Breakfast is really amazing, true sri lankan style or the typical boring western breakfast...my recommendation...your in sri lanka, try everything local, you will be surprised at the tasty food they serve you.

There isnt much around the area, a 5 min walk from the sea and a 30 min walk to the center, or catch a tuk tuk or ask the owner to take you...

Recommendation
Make sure you book an ensuite room that has its own bathroom inside if thats what you want, however it is more expensive, enjoy the amazing sri lankan breakfast, its incredible.
Give respect to the owner and his family as you are staying in someones home, really friendly and will help you with anything, even taking you to the local markets...

Great Homestay with a great breaky

A small home stay with a warm, friendly atmosphere.  We thoroughly enjoyed our very short stay.  A wonderful Sri Lankan style breakfast after a comfortable night.  We would recommend this home stay to anyone.
