This hotel is perfectly located to walk the best of this great city. The service is top and the amenities are great. Fantastic breakfast included. 
Even though its in the center of the city, the rooms are peaceful and quiet. 


Love las letras

Arrived on our overnight flight from the US and the Iberostar was a great selection for the first night in the country. Overall, the hotel was quiet, the room sizable by European standards, location was good, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast, which we paid for when booking, was good and plentiful for the start of the day. The evening of arrival we walked the five minutes to Mercado San Anton and had choices of some different tapas which we enjoyed as well. Two couples, we were all pleased with the choice.

Great Arrival Hotel

to start the location is beyond perfect, everything is located with just a few steps. the rooms are great, they are very clean. the beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. The customer service is PERFECT, the people there are extremely friendly and will do everything to make sure your stay in pleasant. David from the front desk, helped me book the Flamenco show, without me having to ask twice. He was beyond helpful every time I had a question. thank you to all the stuff who helped my stay be so pleasant. I will for sure refer this hotel to all my friends and family, I can't wait to go back.

Loved this Hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel, from the friendly and welcoming staff, to the excellent standard of room, to the central location on Gran Via.
We will definitely return to Madrid and this hotel will be our first choice. Thank you for a great 4 days.

Book it!

Stayed here for a week in February, and would definitely return. Very comfortable room, with a soft reading chair--nearly unheard of in contemporary hotels! Several reviews complain that this hotel is not as nice as it used to be. I can't speak to that having never stayed here, but for me a comfortable bed, soft thick towels and helpful staff win out over fancy toiletries and glitzy lobby any time. Staff were friendly and helpful with every request. Other reviews mentioned noise. I was in a room on the back of the hotel and it was perfectly quiet (with a great view of other lovely old buildings, I might add). The building has maintained some of its historic architectural qualities, which give a very nice character. The location is perfect for access both to "museum alley" as well as other parts of this lovely city. I can't give the same high marks for the restaurant. Only ate there once--breakfast on my first morning--but it was weak, lukewarm cafe con leche and greasy Spanish tortilla. So I can't recommend that.

Comfortable place to stay, with luxury where it matters

The hotel is very well situated, in the  center of Madrid, but still quiet, the room and toilet was very clean and tidy, breakfast - was very satisfactory.  the people in the reception were very helpful, especially Ms. Sandra Ana, to whom we turned every day to help us find ourselves in the big city and she did it with good will and charm.

very good hotel, very convenient,

Spent almost a week a the Iberostar Las Letras while in Madrid and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is right at one end of the Gran Via and incredibly convenient to the old city. We were just steps away from all those old sites, plazas, restaurants, Hemingway haunts not to mention only a couple of blocks from the Prado and the whole museum complex.

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very modern and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was just great and we ate their everyday of our visit.

The staff are super friendly and eager to please. Muchas Gracias!

Great homebase in central Madrid

I visited this hotel in February 2018. It has an excellent location on gran via, very central to all the attractions and sights of Madrid. The staff were extremely friendly and helped with numerous things including where to get the tourist bus from. The room itself was nice, but the bathroom could do with a bit of updating (but lovely on the whole!). Breakfast was a good spread of continental and eggs on offer. Staff were good at getting order and they were delivered quickly. Overall, i really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. 

Excellent hotel on the whole 

The hotel is very centrally located - ideal for exploring the heart of Madrid. Despite this, it is surprisingly quiet - 'though we did have noisy neighbours for one might! Some rooms have windows opening to an open, atrium-like area which minimises street noise. Breakfast is particularly good. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our four day stay. Rooms are compact but stylishly finished. Recommended.

At the heart of it ....

I really liked this place. I weekended with my wife prior to a week of work in Madrid. It worked well for both. The location can't really be improved on, central and fun with buzzy nightlife all around. Our room, 605, was brilliant with windows on 3 sides and a glorious roof-scape. The staff were giggly friendly but also advised us well. I got ill later in the week and they could not have been more helpful.  Its not the Ritz. Most services are provided by the cafe - but the laundry came back early on the same day. Oh and the gym was excellent. Enjoy.
