Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria

My first time to Gran Canary. Wanted an allinclusive experience for my holiday. So glad I picked this hotel! Worth the money. Absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds. Hotel staff was superb! From the moment I arrived, I felt as if I was treated like the only person there. Everyone is attentive and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The room was beautiful and clean. Mine overlooked the grounds and gave me unobstructed views of the ocean and sunrise. The bed was extremely comfortable. Each morning I didn’t want to leave the bed as I slept so well! The breakfast buffet was unmatched. Anything and everything you would fancy was available and delicious! Multiple restaurants on site. Three of them you need to book a reservation. Do so before you arrive so you have no issues. I heard some guests complain that they could not eat at a particular restaurant due to lack of availability. I was a solo traveler and it was pretty easy to get squeezed in. I did book a dinner each night once I checked in. However, there are restaurants that don’t need a reservation and one that is buffet style. Cocktails, wine and beer flowed freely! Free activities at the hotel to keep you busy. My only complaint is that I wish spa access to the indoor pool, steam room and sauna was included in your stay. East beach access was a plus. The walking path helped me get some exercise in. The hotel gym is small but has everything you would need. Would absolutely stay again!
