We have  just returned from this lovely hotel and will be returning April 2024.

The hotel is spotless, lots of choice in the restaurant  and the best scrambled  egg for breakfast I have ever tasted  in a hotel.

The staff are  always pleasant  and very helpful.

Another great stay

Spectacular view but standard for students. The hotel, built in 1964 and poorly renovated, features low-quality furniture, stains on the room's sofa and decorative pillows. Outdated white-gray towels in the bathroom, lacking cosmetic products. The food is of very poor quality, with natural juices from dispensers and awful coffee. Insufficient loungers at the pool, and the sun umbrellas are very small. If you enjoy a 5-star experience, don't opt for a 4-star hotel package. No room service or valet assistance for luggage. We won't come back here. We prefer Meliá or H10

The hotel that killed the grand piano!

Disappointed.....Read the reviews and talk to the guests that have been here multiple times.....my husband has been ill for the last 4 days despite every time in the lift or going to the restaurant using hand sanitiser..  I want to tell everyone to be more hygienic but sadly they're not.  ..

Be prepared to pay for absolutely EVERYTHING! 

I have to say, this hotel is beautiful and is in a beautiful location. I have no words for the views at this hotel. Every room had a beautiful view. 

There are plenty of sunbeds, but watch out for the sunbed police.  

The food on offer in the restaurant is absolutely second to none. Every night we ate something different, and not only was it all well presented,  but everything was delicious. By far the best holiday hotel food we have eaten in Europe. 

So, here come the negatives. 

On arrival we were told that we had a complimentary mini bar and fresh fruit in outr room. So I felt a bit silly having to go to reception to ask where these items were. This convinced me that the room was not prepped before we checked in. 

We paid that but extra for a hot tub seeing it was my partner's 50th. Very disappointing to find that the water was filthy on arrival.. Don't get me wrong, as soon as I reported this to this issue it was resolved within 5 hours. 

However again, this was the only time the tub was cleaned. Having had two hot tub sessions  the water was filthy again so we couldn't use it again. Have this hotel not heard of legionaries? 

Two days In a row our room was not cleaned. Our bed was made, but the glasses and towels were not changed. 

I had a dirty footprint on the topsheet clearly from the guests before. I am not convinced that this room was cleaned before we entered.  

Sheets were not clean.
Dirty water in hot tub that cost extra. 
Hair on the living area floor. 
Shower area was dirty and sink was full of old toothpaste. 

As we were unpacking,  a guy walked into our room without k knocking to clean the windows. It was very weird and extremely awkward. 

Not all the staff were friendly.. some were very rude in the restaurant and on the main reception. 

One of the female reception staff was pulling faces because I'd asked for a receipt for some drinks. 

Waiting staff argued with each other while we were eating dinner.  Very uncomfortable. 

I ordered a Tia Maria and coke for my partner,  and was served a Pepsi. I mentioned it to the waiter and he apologised before walking away to serve someone else. Yes, I was charged for a Tia Maria. I only found this out when I settled the bill for the evening. 

My tip is to pay as you go, although they prefer you to charge to your room. If you do this, be careful drinks are not added that you haven't had. 

Speaking of drinks. I can't believe that in this day and age, and the cost of holidays that you would receive a complimentary jug of water on the dinner table. No, you have to pay £2.60 for a small bottle of water that is too small to share.  

We had a couple of cocktails in the pool bar, which were not cheap by the way. All I can say is that they were very weak, poorly presented, full of ice cubes to water them down further so you have to buy more. 

Top tip. 

If you don't want to spend £2.60 on a small water while your around the pool. Take a plastic bottle to the gym and fill up from the fresh water machine that's in there for free!

Out and about, I found that the pubs were a bit dodgy only accepting cash for drinks. Seemed like a bit of a tax dodge to me. So I had to draw money from a cashpoint, costing me £5 to withdraw my own money. 

Try the bakery up the road to the right of the hotel. Fresh and beautiful food that you can pay for with your card. 

We both ate well for the cost of one meal in the hotel. 

Apart from these issues,  we had a nice holiday and enjoyed the stunning views this hotel offers.

Hmmm

Whilst the Hotel was good. The facilities could be better especially the pool as it was very crowded with by 8.00am people were allowed put towels on the sun beds leaving non available. The use of Balinise beds used up too much space and could have been used better with a normal Sun Beds. 

Ideally the Hotel needs a extra pool to go with the existing Main and Small Pools
