IMT Hotel

Before booking this hotel for my long weekend stay in Seocho I had read reviews on different websites, booking.com reviewed it very positive but Agoda reviews made it sound very sleazy hotel located in a red light district. However the look of the hotel was what made me book deciding I would in fact make my mind up for myself during my stay. I found this Hotel to be excellent, it's location is very close to the subway line 3 Nambu bus station stop although the Hotel itself is hidden down a side street but not too difficult to find. The subway from Gimpo Airport was 20 stops on line 9 then 2 stops on line 3 subway is easy to use and every time we used it it was quiet. Upon arrival at the Hotel the reception staff were very friendly and polite and once we were settled in our room we received a call from reception to make sure everything in our room was ok. People have commented on their being no door to the bathroom, in fact there is a door for the toilet/shower just not for the hot tub but if you are a couple travelling then the hot tub was an excellent quirky addition. The room itself was large it had a seating area with 2 small sofa's and a desk with a PC, the wifi was fast and their was cable television to relax with after a long day touring Seoul. The water, tea and coffee facilities were replenished well and if you needed any extra just a call to reception and they brought you some. The bed was a bit hard but that is normal in Korea, the sheets were clean and changed daily if required. Plenty of towels also bathrobes and slippers. Toiletries supplied for you and even hairbrushes and gel to use. The location of the Hotel is surrounded by lots of places to eat and a few local shops, a nice area to stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a nice break it was relaxing and quiet.
