My husband(demised) and I stayed in WhistleLark hotel from Dec 16 to Dec 19 2024. Unfortunately, my husband passed away on our last night. In spite of the grief, I had to stay on in Jeju to oversee the repatriation of his remains back to our home country. The staff of WhistleLark showed much compassion and sympathies towards my situation - from front desk to housekeeping crew. Special mention to Manager Lee who was very compassionate and understanding towards my situation. He was extremely helpful and accommodating - above and beyond the usual level of hospitality. When my brother and son joined me in Jeju days later, arrangements were made for our rooms to be side-by-side each other. All this during peak Christmas week. I left Jeju on 27 Dec 2024. This was my repeat stay in WhistleLark hotel. My late husband very much enjoyed the stay a year ago and decided to return again. I am comforted that his last days on earth were happy ones at the WhistleLark. My family and I are eternally thankful for the kindness, compassion and empathy extended to me during this very challenging period.
