Incredibly low priced accommodation within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
CLEAN. COMFORTABLE. NEAT.  Everything you need for an overnight stay.  The added bonus is the owner and staff:  you arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend.  Extremely attentive, but at the same time allowing you all the time you need to wind down on the terrace or next to the pool after a long day.  Super friendly staff, all of them!!!  Would love to visit again!

I stayed at the Knysna N2 Lodge for the Knysna Half and Houtkapper trail and from the time we checked in to the time of check out nothing was too much trouble.
To crown off my weekend stay, my silver bracelet fell off my wrist while brushing my teeth.  Needless to say was a little bummed.  When I got home on Tuesday I called and told Volente about my mishap. She said she would get back to me. WELL today I get a call to say they have retrieved my bracelet for me.  Now if that is not going over and beyond service then I don't know what is. THANK YOU  very much Volente and your team.  I will definitely be back next year

Customer service at its best

Spent a wonderful two nights there on a solo visit. Very friendly, tranquil, clean and secure.  Water was nice and hot,  and the bed comfortable. Thank you Jesmine and N2 Lodge. I would definitely stay there again.   - Dave. 

Two comfortable and well rested nights.

I was travelling in 5-star hotels, backpackers, Airbnb's while in S.A. I landed here by chance for a few days and ended up 2 weeks. The owner is a wonderful Afrikaans lady, caring and understanding. the pool is clean and the location is a 5-minute walk into town and a 2-minute walk to Spar, bank, bottle store.
Very quiet and expensive from most of the places I have visited. There is Uber eats to get food, There is a gym close by. The lodge offers amazing coffee. I would recommend a room if you on a budget, I would choose the first or 2nd room on the ground floor.

2 weeks stay - Awesome location, safe, clean and awesome kitchen

To start with the positives. This place is easy to find, it is right on the N2. The staff were polite and friendly. The N2 is a very busy road so it is not a pleasant environment if you are looking for a quiet get-a-away or a good nights sleep. Stayed as part of a group. Shared bathrooms had baths not showers. Some rooms not very clean while others were OK. No lights in the braii area. There are much nicer places to stay along this part of the Garden Route. Poor value.

Noisy, too close to the road

My daughter stayed here as part of a school touring group. Her phone and shoes were stolen out of their room in the early hours of the morning. If you plan on staying here, make sure your room door is properly locked.

Lock your doors

Really not impressed. What you get is not what you got written confirmation for and most definitely not what the website pushes. The one time they tried to clean the room (I think they wanted to do this) I was busy dressing and simply walked in no knock or anything. Well they left and in the total 4 days they have not returned, not even to remove trash. No toilet paper replaced throughout the lodge. Floors not cleaned and furniture doors dont close. Will not be revising this establishment
