The owner was very friendly. He was kind enkugh to show us points of interest in the area, hiking routes, trail routes... The braai area was packed up with wood and the pool waa clean. We enjoyed our stay!

this little gem tucked away between the mountains is a NOT miss.
the friendlyness of the owners is something hard to get.
easy stoll to the Montagu little town to do your shopping or restaurants of good quality.

Beautiful place. Calm Quit. Restfull. Peaceful. Beautiful big big garden. Lovely trees. View is excellent. Lovely little bungalow/house. Nice kitchen. Lovely bed. Lovely bathroom. Slept nice and warm. My dog was with me, Nice little stoepie outside

Dave and Tara are wonderful hosts - and attentive to your every need. Dave has a wealth of knowledge for the Montague area.  We loved our stay and will return. Climbing and hiking in the area are a must.  Winter is the best time in Montague - not too hot   

This is a must visit area

Beautiful settings. Close to some amazing hikes. Great restaurants, coffee shops and book stores. Wine estates within easy driving distance, i.e Bon Courage, Van Loveren and Springfield. A huge plus is that Rainbow Glen is dog friendly! Thanks to David and Tara for your hospitality. 

Midweek stay

Stayed at rainbow 🌈 Glen. Had a great time ⌚ place nice and tidy and clean. Nice garden. Nice views of the mountains ⛰ ample parking 🅿 hosts friendly and helpful. Wifi was good. Near to all amenities

We had the most wonderful stay! Everything was need and the bed was comfortable. David is a very helpful and friendly host. Also near all amenities. We enjoyed the tranquility and awesome mountain views! It’s a major plus point that Rainbow Glen is pet-friendly. Our doggy enjoyed her staying too. We will definitely be back to stay longer next time!

Value for money!

We enjoyed our stay at this neat modern one-bedroom cottage. Met the host(David) very friendly guy. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the peaceful atmosphere. Looking at the mountains. It is tranquility at its best.

Neat Modern Cottage

This was a very positive experience in that it was so tranquil and peaceful. This place is a gem; we got to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains, the property’s landscape and of course the pool to cool off. We had dinner by lantern under the stars and went for morning walk and even countered some friendly baboons who posed for our photos. The cottage was cute, bigger than I expected, and the host was welcoming and informative of the activities in the area we could enjoy on our trip. This is also located close to the town so we could just pop out when we needed something from the shop. This venue is perfect for those who love the outdoors but love the peace of being in a safe holiday accommodation and environment.

Honestly one of our new favourite holiday getaways. Friendly host who is very considerate over your space!!
The amount of peace Rainbow Glen brings is unexplainable. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend staying at Rainbow Glen.
