We wanted to explore the northern part of Primorska, and Gorenjska, maybe go to the sea side for a day, so we chose Škofja Loka for our "base", because it was a great starting point for all our daily trips. We stayed at Mini Hotel for three nights and were very pleased with our stay. The room was always impecable, clean and I especially enjoyed the pleasant smell of the freshly washed linens (sometimes in hotels although the linens are clean, they don't smell nice). The breakfast was a bit different every day, but there was more then enough food and options (meat, bread, cereal, yogurt, various spreads, jams, tea options, fruit). The owners were also very friendly and helpful with tips about what to see in the region.
