We traveled to Slovakia for 11 days, a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (11.5 & 8). We chose Penzion V Strani since we did not want to stay in the touristic area of Liptovsky Mikulash or around the High Tetras which most travelers choose to stay at when travelling to Slovakia. Also, we planned a star trip and we prefer not to change our base. We chose Penzion V Strani, located at Myto pod Dumbierom, right at the center of Slovakia. The place is magnificent! Located at a beautiful little village, with 7 type of rooms to choose from, very clean and comfortable. There is a trampoline for the kids and a hammock to relax on, facing picturesque view. The manager Matej, is a friendly charming guy, who handled any request we had immediately and efficiently with a genuine kind smile. The included breakfast was sufficient and delicious, with small surprises Matej provides every day. We highly recommend the place.
