If you was born in USSR, you will find this place very nosctalgic, nice and sweet. If you were so lucky to be born in new Russia, may be u will need need some translation and explanation about inside and outside design details. But in any case you will enjoy the clean fresh air, clean big area in the forest, clean water in Dubna river, quite fast Wi-Fi and very nice Russian-style sauna with water slide to the river. We were here in August - so we could enjoy the fishing and "mashrooms-fising" near by as well. But i am sure if u get here in winter time you will enjoy ice skating ring, clean snow flakes and all this russian winter stuff. Some practical info: originally it was Soviet Union scout camp renovated and re-bilded by the oner of the major Russian retailer GUM store with art touch. No any standard rooms, villas etc. Some rooms and villas are designed by famous russian artist, some are more comfortable, but you can also find one-space area for 10 people with one WC and shower. It is better to find out everything when you are booking the property. The Russian style sauna is strongly recommended. Good place for wedding, corporative team-bildings party, romantic week-end. And if you are sick of tired of capital mess - go there. As for food - there is some home-made restaurant with simple russian-style cuisine, but it is open in weekend only. If you are going there in Monday or Friday, it is better to book the room with the kitchen of BBQ at least. We spent 3 days there for my husband birthday with our friends - everyone was happy.
