Hostel Like Hostel St. Petersburg on Teatralnaya is a complex of guest accommodation facilities located within walking distance from each other. The complex is located in the historical center of St. Petersburg: next to the Yusupov Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Palace Square and the Mariinsky Theatre. Within walking distance of the metro station Sennaya Square and Admiralteyskaya. I arrived about 12.30 am with prebooking. the woman in reception treated me very bad. very unfriendly. not english speaking. guys dont go there specially for tourist from other coutries. 8 beds in a small room with noisy beds. the breakfast very bad and simple. i asked the staff to change my bed from upstairs to downstairs but she refused and said you already used the mattress 🤣. and said you can change your hostel rudely. the chechout is

We are sorry that you didn’t enjoy staying at our hostel.
However, all the service promised was provided.
Unfortunately, not all our receptionists speak fluent English and that could cause the feeling of inhospitality. To solve this problem and to break the language barrier, we use translators. It has always been enough to escape misunderstandings and provide good service.
You booked a bed in a room with 8 beds several hours before moving into our hostel. All the details including the room area and number of beds in the room was mentioned on the site. By that time you came, all the beds downstairs were booked by other people. They did it in advance and nobody planned to leave earlier. That’s the reason why we couldn’t offer you the bed downstairs. However, to make your stay comfortable we offered you another apartment, but you rejected because it was more expensive. As we didn’t have other options to offer you, the only recommendation we could give was to try another hostel.
Talking about the food, we serve typical Russian breakfast. We understand that tastes differ, and probably you are not used to this type of food, but most of our guests admire the opportunity to try Russian cuisine and like the dishes we offer.
We always do our best to provide exceptional service to every guest. And your case wasn’t an exception. At our hostel we offer everything a person may need for comfortable short-term living. We care about cleanliness, regular change of bed linen and the comfort of our visitors.

The service attitude of the proprietress is very good, warm and friendly, which is impressive. The location of the hotel is very good, the transportation is convenient, and it is not far to walk to the surrounding attractions. The showers are great and the kitchen is well equipped. The only thing that is not so good is the Wi-Fi in the room, but you can use it in the living room without any problem.
