The staffs are friendly and accommodating.

I'm a solo traveller and just wanna skip the bustle and hassle Manila for a weekend and I just found out this lovely hostel.
Firstly, Location wise is perfect,a 5 foot away from the beach at station 2, and very convenient to everything you needed from the shops,restaurants and bars etc. 
Secondly,Accomodation -It is a hostel lodging , a shared room about 20 people (most recommended for a big groups) cleanliness  are well maintained and of course free WIFI. They have a small locker for your personal things (just bring your own pudlock).
Thirdly, Value of money- if you travelled with a budgeted money this is suitable for you.
Lastly, special THANK YOU to Nino Pantua( receptionist) for his warm hospitality and high level of service during my stay and to Lorence(night shift) for his kind and accomodating approach, you guys rocks!!!!Kudos to Management. 
Difinetely recommended to everyone!!And looking forward to see you guys in August.

"What a Retreat"

I spent here my New Year holidays. On New Year Eve staff made for customers party with musik, free alcohol and food.
What about quality of this place? Remember, that's a hostel and not 3-4 stars hotel. In 
Common room with 10-15 people. 
Pretty clean. AC in room. Outside lounge with nice view. One bad thing - no hot water in bathroom. Nice English speaking staff. 
I think it's good hostel! 
Location is very convenient. In the middle of Island. Downstairs there are SPA, daving center and bar.

Very good place!

It's a great place if you're travelling alone. 1. It's smacked right in the hustle and bustle of Boracay at Station 2 on White Beach. You're next to D'Mall, right in front of the beach where all the massage parlors are, water sports, bars, you name it. Everything is a stone throw away so it helps if you're hungry in the middle of the night or feel like simply getting a bottle of beer. If you're looking for somewhere fancy, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere strategic, affordable and generally no complaints about, this is it. 2. Also note mentioning that the hostel is on Level 3 from Ground floor.3. The staff is amazing. I sprained my ankle right before arriving at Boracay but all beds were fully booked so I was placed on the upper bunk. They mentioned that they'll move me to the lower bunk as soon as someone checks out and TBH at that point, I thought it would be an empty promise or it'd probably slip off their minds. The next day when I came back from my activities, I was surprised that they moved everything for me to a new lower bunk bed including all my things that were scattered all over my bed. Amazing.4. Cleanliness. By the end of the day, there would be lotsa sand in the showers as people come back from the beach but I guess that's unavoidable. The staff nonetheless maintains a high level of cleanliness. They sweep and mop the floor when there are less guests in the dorm, clean up the toilet and basin area on a daily basis.

VALUE FOR MONEY!

The hostel opens out straight onto the beach and is surrounded by loads of bars and restaurants. The room was clean but had so many beds. This meant there was very little space for our bags. Everyone’s stuff just got a bit muddled in between all the beds. Saying this however, they did provide a small locked drawer for your valuables. There were plug sockets by each bed which were useful. There was no bar or restaurant in the hostel but this wasn’t an issue. They also looked after our bags for us for a few hours. 

Great location 

I've checked in to hostels in my travels but it was my first time to do so in Philippines. It did not disappoint. Aside from it's perfect location, it's also clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, too. I would rate it 5 if only they have hot shower and if the pressure is stronger. It's very cold inside the room and it would take a lot of guts for you to go into that cold shower. Brrrr 😄 I hope the next time I visit, they finally have it installed. 😅

Hostel Avenue is a hostel in the beachfront near station 2,Boracay. It was a great location specially for solo traveller like me who just wanted to chill and with cheap budget. The room is quite clean as expected on the hostel but check again for comfort because you will have people come and go, lights turn on and off. The bathroom is a common area and a self service, ask for tissue if all gone. There is no hot water in the shower and the door seems broken. But the staff are very nice so still, the hostel is within the price as expected.

Great but not quite

I decided to try this hostel because it looked fun and comfy on paper.

But...

They had to turn off AC during high noon, so some of the tourists that wanted to stay indoors are sweating like pigs.

And even if the AC is on, it barely makes you cool. Good luck to a good night's sleep.

I asked politely to transfer to a vacant bottom bunk bed because the top bunk beds are really warm (even at night time), but they wont let me because guests will be arriving later. I've decided to move anyway.

But then, they wanted to get my new bed sheets and replace it with my sheets the night before. So I asked them, "hindi ba nakakahiya sa guest yang ginagawa nyo?"

Later, they asked to exchange pillows from my old bed. Of course I did bring my pillow from my previous bed, I'm not dumb!

Come on, there are other hostels out there which are priced the same but have better ACs and better customer policies.
