who is very much committed so that his guests feel like home. The place is simple, but very nice and clean and the price is more than fair. Lucho, the owner, gets up early in the morning to prepare breakfast and pick-up his guests at the terminal. Luchos speciality - his breakfast omelette and the fresh bread he buys every morning. Since we stayed only for one day, he even offered to buy our bus tickets at the time we were on a trip on the Titicacasee. He's very much dedicated to fulfill his customer's wishes and has a great service-mentality - still he's very personal. 
Since I read also the negative comments, I want to mention that the night we didn't have hot water Lucho sprinted on the roof and after that I took a long warm shower. 

An owner with warmth and hospitality..

The stay was quite nice. The owner of the hotel proved very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The downside, it is a bit away from the center in a dangerous area (locals say). 

Good stay

I found this hostal while at the bus station in Puno. After booking a day trip to the nearby islands at a desk, the lady recommended this place. She called and reserved my spot. For 30 soles I received a huge room with two extremely confortable double beds, hot water, 2 towels, TV, fast WiFi, and toilet paper. It might seem surprising for some readers but even toilet paper is hard to find at more expensive hotels.

Much better than anything else in Peru

I can't find a way to contact the hostel so if you see this please help! 

I think I lost my GoPro camera at this hostel. It is in a blue dry sack/bag of the rand sea2summit. It contains both camera (brand is Rayne), floatie (red) and some extra acc.

Good breakfast with omelettes, clean rooms and a very nice owner! Though we had a problem making a tour with him, as he told is, there would be an English guide. When we arrived it was all in Spanish. It was a 2 day trip... but it was a nice stay.
