Casa Pucllana Miraflores Hotel Boutique

Hotel located about 50 minutes drive from the airport (traffic in Lima is almost all the time!). The transfer was provided by the hotel, price 25 USD. Located in the Miraflores area where majority of hotels are located. Very short walking distance (250 meters) to Huaca Pucclana – one of the most popular Lima tourist attractions. We had a private guide with the car during two days stay in Lima and location was very convenient. Short distance to historical centre and majority of tourist attractions. We stayed there early August and it was cold time in Lima. It is typical in Peru that they don’t take special care of the temperature inside (all the day open door to the hotel, very basic windows etc. etc.), however there was enough number of blankets in the beds. We have got also electric heater so we used it in the morning and in the evening. The staff was very nice and helpful, also very good contact when booking - we made direct booking with the hotel. The small shop is on the opposite side of the street and it was also possible to change money there (wit the owner). The hot water and very strong Peruvian coffee was available in the breakfast room. Coffee is really very strong (it is typical in Peru). The breakfast was also good – not only fruits and cakes but also ham, cheese, avocado, vegetables – good selection.
