We had amazing time is this hotel, they have beautiful Rooms and plants and Great Breakfast lovely place place to stay in Miraflores, also excellent location, staff very Friendly, I have not complains I will Recommend this hotel to everyone

I enjoyed my stay in this nice friendly and beautiful place. Very peaceful and the owners nice people. I recommend this place 100%. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Lot of plants and bird singing. I hope to be back.

The highlight of this cute bed & breakfast is the entranceway--hence the name, El Zaguan--which is a beatiful patio full of plants, fountains, birds & birdsongs. Easy to forget you're in bustling Lima! Hot water, water pressure, and cable TV all worked fine and soap and towels were provided everyday. El Zaguan is run by a nice elderly couple. They are very friendly, but I wouldn't look to them for the latest up-to-date tourist info. This is more of a hostal for experienced travelers who don't need a lot of advice (this was my 7th trip to Peru). 

The place is about three blocks outside of the interesting part of Miraflores--not too far, but some people might like to be closer. There are a few gas stations around for things like beer, water, snacks, etc., and it's easy to get a taxi.

It's small and family run. This means a very personal touch in how the b&b is run: very helpfull, a funny assembly of furniture, much more Spanish than English, not always perfect but the kindness and will to help makes this a place where would like to come back. It is very convenient situated: in Miraflores, very close to the Metropolitan Bus line. We liked it a lot

This beautiful guest house is in Miraflores, the safe, more oppulent district in Lima.  The owners have great taste with the decor and garden.  It feels like an oasis in the busy city of Lima.  Homey and tranquil.  You do need to take a taxi to go into city centre (20-30 Soles).  Our bag was stolen on the day we arrived, which contained our passports, cash, cards and all booking confirmations.  The owners let us use their computer all day in order to retrieve our old emails with booking confirmations.  They also kept a room for us in case we don't get our emergency passports in time and had to stay an extra night.  Really appreciate their help.
