This is the standout accommodation we have had in 5 weeks. 
Very good breakfast with plenty fresh fruit, engaging and helpful stuff, clean rooms with comfortable bed and hot water. Very close to tourist area but far away to avoid the Cusco noise.

truly wonderful place to stay

It was fine. Very loud so if you're a sensitive sleeper or have difficulty falling asleep it's not good. The heater looks like a whiteboard on the wall and has one setting so it's either off and freezing or you wake up hot in the night. Shower was kind of a cave. The courtyard outside was pretty a d they had tea out all the time. Had to leave before breakfast.

Okay but wouldn't stay again

Nice cozy hotel in Cusco. It is very close to the center and is also very chill and beautiful. Don't expect luxery but the place has a great bit of charm. I have stayed other places in the same price category in Cusco and this place is by far the choice I would make.The doors is not soundproof though.

Cozy hotel close to city center

Stayed here for a week in August. The room was spacious and very clean. fantastic location for walking around Cusco old town and serves a delicious breakfast.

Staff friendly and happy to help. Just need to communicated with a bit of broken English.

Will defiantly stay there again.

Fab hotel!

Uncomfortable location. It is on the road where cars don't go. So you have to walk like 20 high steps with your luggage to get to the street where hotel located. Add the altitude and it is no good welcome! My room was located near entrance, first floor. People walking on the street were looking in. Every time you go to hotel you have to call to open the door, and sometimes it took 5 min, waiting cold and tired after exhausting hike.... not fun! Another thing i noticed is that Staff is not well organized.

Uncomfortable Location

Our group of two couples stayed here two nights.  We staged our very long day trip to Machu Pichu from here.  First off when we were dropped off by taxi from airport we were faced with several sets of fairly steep steps to get to small foot street to front door of property.  That is not a big deal in and of itself but when you toss in altitude (yes, we were all affected by that) it was a bit daunting.  Worth keeping in mind.  Once we got to the front desk (you go down kind of a long hallway sort of place after ringing bell to get door unlocked) we got sorted out fairly quickly despite bit of a language issue (none of us speak very good Spanish and the front counter clerk had limited English).  Our rooms were small but double beds were comfortable (quilts/comforters welcome because it did get chilly).  It was nice sitting in central courtyard drinking cocoa tea (provided free in reception area) and watching humming birds.  We only did breakfast one morning but we suspect it is similar offerings every day.  Scrambled eggs, pastries, cereal, etc.  Pretty good and certainly filling.  We were able to send out for laundry service, very inexpensive, and it took just overnight to get small loads back.  WIFI was okay (and free).  All in all a decent stay but I would not recommend for people with mobility issues, those first sets of stairs could be daunting.

Decent place, nice breakfasts

I visited here as a part of a student group and this place is so beautiful.  Some of my friends were staying in the loft room and it was incredible – the view was to die for.  
Good things:

– beautiful

Bad things:
– the cold!!!
The rooms have heaters but they don't do much.  It gets really cold at night in Cusco and it was almost unbearable.  You're fine as long as you bundle up at night, but getting out of the shower is tough.  And downstairs is okay – as long as they have the fireplace going.

want to give this place 5 stars

We stayed here both before and after a 5-day trek (6 nights total in two different rooms) and we were very satisfied with the experience both times. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and breakfast is amazing! The staff is very friendly although not always completely fluent in English. 

The place is located near the central plaza while being withdrawn from any bigger streets, why there is generally very quiet at night. The place also has a very nice garden to hang around in. 

As a small note: we experienced one night after 10.30pm with no hot water for bathing. 

Cozy and quiet with central location

Multiple cute courtyards full of plants and hummingbirds, good breakfast, and close to the San Blas district which is great for restaurants and artisans. Like most Cusco places, looks bare from the outside.

We’ve stayed here 2 times(once for two nights and the other for three nights) and each time we were left with a bitter taste regarding the room conditions and reception staff hospitality.

The bathrooms from the rooms are like in the pictures attached and due to that there will always be a bad smell in the room. The heating is on schedule like from 7 in the evening until 6 in the morning. 

Also the reception is not quite helpfull. We asked them to make a reservation for us and they said No and told us to just go in the city center and do it ourselves.

The safe lock is on the reception and not in the rooms with the time frame from 9 in the morning until 9 in the evening.

However the breakfast is really good.

If you want clean conditions without any fungus or smell, choose another accomodation.
