Ayacucho

Ayacucho was many years on my wishlist. Now I finally made it! Arrival at the new airport was cool and the pick-up organized by the hotel worked very well. The Hotel is located along a small road and a pedestrian walking area, which gives a nice first impression. The interior of the hotel is kind of awkward, but okay. Check-in was friendly and quick. My room was at the end of a hallway and pretty dark with a window without a real view. The bathroom was clean, but very simple. Overall a place to sleep, but that´s it - definitely not cozy as mentioned in another review. I ate twice and the food was okay, but not outstanding. Breakfast was okay. Ah - and as mentioned in other reviews, the music from the back of the hotel was loud and went until well after midnight....At the end of the day I cannot really recommend the ViaVia 2 - on the other side there are not many options in Ayacucho. For some reason the tourist trail has not yet arrived here.

Loud on Saturday Nights

I traveled solo by end of November 2018. The hotel is super cozy and is located 15 min away (on foot) from the main square. The included breakfast was fine. The room was nice and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. The wifi worked very well in the bedroom. One disadvantage: I found the hotel to be very noisy. You could hear noises by the next room's bathroom. Additionally, there is a board school across the street that practices their typical dances every night and the music is super loud even during the week.

Great Value! Cozy Hotel but Kind of Loud

Pros:
-Cozy hotel. It makes you feel like staying at a local house. 
-Food is amazing.
-Cheap hotel
-Location: Waking distance to the Main Square.
-Staff is great. People is the main asset in ViaVia2.

Cons:
Walls and floors were not so neat. (clean)
No pickup service from the Airport
Surroundings: If going to the MainSquare, you have to get through a City Market that looks not so safe.
Internet wireless is kind of slow
I had trouble with electricity (ask previously for a lamp)
Odd thing: If you pay with a reservation (Booking for example) other than direct reservation, the price is higher than the published at the main desk.

Nice Small Hotel close to the Ayacucho´s Main Square

Located out of the way on the edge of the city, yet it still manages to be noisey here, especially as it is right in front of a school. The staff blamed the wifi not working on their internet provider and the town. Better accomodation can be found in the centre of town for the same price or less.
