Maitei Hotel

We stayed here for a couple of nights and would stay here again. Pros - good location generally, excellent location for carnival - good a.c. and cable tv - decent breakfast except no hot water or tea, only coffee - staff were friendly enough - clean and reasonably priced Cons - bit far from the bus station compared to other places if you are walking from there (still possible but a little far) - our fridge door had a terrible seal so we had to wedge it shut with a stool - calling the kitchenette a kitchenette was a bit of an oversell ... very basic... a microwave, kettle, fridge, two plates, one spoon, one knife, one wine glass and some mugs... don't think you can cook here but if you just want to have a snack it is perfectly adequate :-)
