Fantastic place! Great view from most cabins over the water. Good restaurant and pizzeria with delicious food. we rented a boat for a day. it can be recommended. close to Mandal and Kristiansand. Nice swimming beaches nearby. We will definitely come again next year.

Amazing place

The place is beautifully located in the archipelago at Tregde. Boat rental and everything is arranged for fishing and sea activities.

We rented a cabin and in connection with a sports event in Mandal. Unfortunately the cabin was in such poor condition that we termed the whole thing as a mug. Closet doors fell off, mosquito nets hung and the hose bathroom was directly nasty and completely falling out. It should not be allowed to rent such.

For information, the Slow Holiday Center has been confronted with criticism but has chosen not to respond.
The place is nice but so is it. Sorry but I can't recommend this place again. It's expensive too.

Nice location but terrible appartments. Expensive

The Rooms were good, it was clea and the Staff were very nice to us. All in all, this was a very good experience that I can reccommend to People. The Restaurant was also very good and I really liked that they had many activities to Choose.

Very Good!

We had a bard meeting here in end of August. The expectations were low since this was off season but thanks to the Chef it became awesome.
The food and service were outstanding. 5 stars on that one for sure!
We also had booked a oceanride I the rib. That was also all super experience.
The apartments were clean and had the needed accessories for the perfect stay.

Off season business meeting

In the middle of Norway's most popular holiday destination area lies this very nice marina. With 3 bedrooms living room and a fully equipped kitchen, the clean apartment  fulfilled all our wishes for the one night we stayed there. The kids enjoyed the pool. In the marina there is a shop and a restaurant witch was excellent too.

This was our favorite place to stay on our 10 day road trip. We intended to stay in nearby Kristiansand, but when everything was sold out, we had to look elsewhere. Fortunately, Tregde Ferie had availability and we had the most lovely night in a little waterfront cabin. 

Sitting on the front porch and watching the sunset over the water was SO relaxing and exactly what we needed during our fast-paced road trip. We sipped wine and ate home cooked food purchased in the nearby town of Mandel (just 5-10 minutes by car). 

Our only regret was not staying another night to enjoy boating activities on the lake. They offer boat, kayak and stand up paddle board rentals, so be sure to take advantage of everything there is to do outside. 

Bonus: Dog friendly!

Note: Cabins do not have A/C and can get quite hot in the summer. We had to keep our windows closed due to bugs. Fortunately there is a screen front door, but the bedroom has little air flow.
