Blueberry Cottage

We came here with 3 days left of our holiday. We only intended to stay one night but we were so impressed with Blueberry Cottage we stayed another night! I would go as far as to say it was the best place we stayed in NZ for the following reasons: Excellent value for money; our room had a view to the sea and we were able to use the garden to sit in to enjoy the view too; the Swiss continental breakfast was simply fantastic (the best we've experienced anywhere in NZ); we had our own fridge to put our wine in; Rodger told us where we might spot some blue penguins at dusk and we actually did see some which was wonderful. Timaru itself is a bit like Greenock in Scotland, by the the sea but, no offence, you wouldn't go on holiday there but it's a good town to see other places from and it's worth a visit if only to stay at this B&B!
