First,the staffs are friendly.The price is affordable for every room.Wifi is excellent.The foods offer at their resto are great.The view in the area is nice.Overall I have a wonderful stay in this hotel.

Netherlands Tour

The surroundings are so beautiful it really makes up for the lack of quality in the hotel itself. Rooms are clean but very dated and you can hear when someone else flushes the toilets or has a shower. The restaurant is of an average sort with local dishes which will be filling after a day out. The price/quality don't match for what you get but it's in a very touristy area so they can charge what they want. The couple are sweet and friendly. Do take care when you order drinks at the bar that the spirits will be watered down a bit which for the price you pay shouldn't be necessary. The beds squeak a bit and were reasonably comfortable.

Watership down

The (older) couple who owns the hotel is very friendly and does their best to serve you well. The rooms are decent and clean and have the necessary basics. Some rooms come with a bath. Breakfast is included and they serve very cheap meals in their indoor restaurant (there was an advert for a three meal course for 15 euro) which we didn't try.

Unfortunately it's also very, very old-fashioned. You get the feeling you're visiting your grandmother in an elderly home, including the crocheted cloths on every surface in the room, dark brown furnitute, a very small square tv and a particular smell. It seems that the rooms are unchanged for the last 30 years. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything on the same floor. The breakfast was also a bit limited, very basic things (as normal slices of bread) were not available.

It's perfectly fine if you're traveling and only need a place to spend the night, but it's not recommended when you want to have a bit of luxury or want to relax in your room.

Very basic, elderly home feeling

We did not stay overnight at this hotel but stopped in for lunch as we were passing. Five of us had sandwiches and drinks. The place was completely empty when we arrived but the service was OK and the food was good. Prices were fairly reasonable.

Handy location

Did not stay overnight at hotel but stopped off for a late lunch and dinner on different occasions. Choice of menu was good, service very good and food was excellent. Worth a try if travelling through Vaals.
