My sister and me had a great stay at the hotel. It's a good place to stay while being in Valkenburg. The building the hotel is based in is quite old but they have renovated the hotel and rooms very well. The owners were very sweet and helpful whenever you needed them. The rooms had a lot of facilities like a television, free wifi, a fridge and the possibility to make tea and coffee. The breakfast is not very big but it has all you need. I do recommend this hotel for your stay in Valkenburg

Great hotel to stay

Very friendly new owners that do their utmost best to assist and serve customers to the maximum within their capabilities. 

Cafe/Breakfast area looks modern and is very good to enjoy. Also the outside area is taken good care off. The inside and other parts of the hotel bring you back to the 90's - however (very important for us) the rooms are 2018 style. I expect they have been renovated a bit to look more of this age.

Note: rooms are partially renovated. So, you will get a 2 x boxspring bed (one per person) and the wall behind the bed is recently painted. with some recent and new paintings on the wall, nice and new pillow(s) and the bed is made up really nice. 

The rest of the room, which is pretty small, is still at trip down to memory lane. But as i can imagine (and the owners told); they are not able to do it all in once. So, i expect it will be a continuous project for them.

Breakfast wasn't inside the breakfast room on the first floor, but inside the Cafe/Bar area. Very nice; and everyone will get his/their private breakfast served. No buffet. The juice we've got wasn't fresh and from a bottle/package. Still good for us, however; could have appreciated fresh orange juice. 

They have a nice beer selection. 

They are not on worlds biggers Hotel booking site, which i would advise. The price for 1/2 nights is cheap and competitive. For sure against other hotels in Valkenburg. We payed a very low price with booking from a special deal website. But from their own website prices are also fair and have a good price/quality value.

I would recommend. Only if you don't expect any luxury within your room - but get more than the other cheap hotels in the city. 

Location also very good. Just true the Gate of the city, on the bottom of the Cauberg. Great location and great view from the rooms.

We were here off season and were pleased with the hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the town of Valkenburg. Every tourist attraction is at walking distance and so are lots of restaurants, bakeries, bars and shops. The breakfast was reasonably priced at 10 euro's and was basic but plenty. We did use their parking option (a closed off garage) which is a 5 minute walk, while the public parking lot next door is about the same price, but much closer. Maybe in season this is a good idea, as the public parking lot might be full. Friendly owners and the rooms are dated but very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Friendly hotel at top location

Hotel Limburgia was a life saver for our family.   We travel Europe frequently and oftentimes explore adventure without reservations.  On this occasion we found ourselves at the Kerstmarkt (Christmas Market) in Valkenburg. It was so amazing that we decided to stay another day because there is so much to see and do. About 11 p.m. in a crowded village of tourists the Limburgia had one small room still available and the manager offered it to us at a more than fair price and brought in another bed for the children at no extra cost.  The room was spacial enough that we still had room to move around without tripping over each other.  This quaint little hotel is in the heart of the city centre and offered a complimentary breakfast that was just delightful. Our experience was absolutely wonderful and the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our family.  I highly recommend this establishment and this little village during the holidays for a magical holiday experience. One of my favorite European hidden treasures. 

Three Star Hotel with Five Star Location

Hotel is simple but ok. Offers good value for money. Very nice beds. Breakfast till late and quite nice. Bathroom could get a bit of an overhaul. Location is just off the busy center of Valkenburg. Conclusion: good!
