I definitely recommend staying at Dar Duna B&B in the small village of Hassilabied, right next to Merzouga. Comfortable bed in a spacious room with ensuite bathroom, amazing breakfast, perfect location on walking  distance to the dunes. Abdel and Mustafa were kind and welcoming hosts, definitely the highlight of my stay.

We spent 2 nights in this guest house was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay here, Mustapha and all the staff are nice people, they organize a camel ride for us with great value, and they help us for everything we need. 

Highly recommend for everyone. 

I spent few days in Merzouga then i meet Mustapha show us his guest house it's very confortable lovely place i advice thé  people if someone has any plan to visite Merzoga village , i take m'y time i relax with this guys, i thank you so much, i hope coming back next time

I stayed together with two friends at Dar Duna this March. The place was beautifully decorated, and off the tourist-y path, which we all appreciated. Mustafa and his friends were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make our experience. They accompanied us to the Market in Razine, organized transportation many times, cooked wonderful food, and provided evenings great entertainment and unforgetable company. This place is only to recommend. The entire 3 nights in Merzouga were relaxed and we all felt very at ease here. You could not ask for better hosts to show you around.

I spent four nights in Dar Duna with two of my friends and it was a wonderful and memorable stay. The location is nice and quiet and there is a great view of the dunes from the terrace - and it's only ten to fifteen minutes by foot and you're there among the dunes.

There is plenty of space to relax and the rooms, bathrooms and common areas are very clean and tastefully decorated. The owner, Mustafa, is a very nice guy and was glad to help us with whatever questions we had or to help us in planning our activities and trips. 

The food was very tasty, Moroccan cuisine, freshly prepared at whatever time we requested. 

All in all, it was a very relaxed and familiar atmosphere and I will definitely go there again when I return to Merzouga.

I was in Dar Duna for three nights and I had such a wonderful stay I didn't want to leave! Location is great, in front on dunes with a super view; you can easily walk 15 minutes and you are right on the desert. The Riad is very comfortable, nice rooms with heater as I was there in January and it can be cold sometimes. Mustapha, the owner, is amazing: he came and pick us up and during our stay he arranges for us all activities. He became a good friend and make us feel at home. We even had all meals on the riad and the food was great, real Moroccan cuisine. I am looking forward to come back.

For the first time since i'm arived in Marocco, i've founded a place where i really feel like my home ! Thanks to Elsa, Mustapha and Mustapha, this guest house is confortable, very clean, warm, and alive, for sure ! And more than being really friendly, they are also generous for all the informations you need, logistical or tourist ones. They have made us visited the souk of Rissani, kasbah of an other village, .. , and the most unforgettable : we went together to the desert, in a really good mind. It's mean we've done this trip with respect and humility for the desert and the nomads, with Mustapha and an other Mustapha, who have knowledge and passion fo this unbelievable place, and they share it with pleasure !
