This was our 4th stay at the Seadust. Improvements to rooms, activities, restaurant menus in 2018 were noticed immediately. Virtually every room has a view of the sea thanks to the shape of the hotel property. Activities at the beach, pool, and mini golf area kept our group busy for our week's stay.  The hotel staff have always been accommodating and welcoming -- same this year.  The Seadust exceeds our family's needs for fun, ease, and safety in Cancun.

I must say that this hotel was defenetly the best choice we had made. 
The staff was very nice. People there, took care of me amd my family as we were an egg that they couldn't break. I felt like princess there. 
Food is all you can eat and so delicious (yep i gained weight haha). 
Downstairs there is SPA and you can get braided hair or go work out or whatever you feel like. 
Private jacuzzi on our balcony was defenetly my favourite! 
Can we just take a moment and appreciate this hotel even existing? I love it so much and I will not hesitate to come back, that will probably be in December. 

Lovely Hotel

This hotel is an all inclusive. Families are welcome.
We have a nice check in, helpful people at the main lobby. The shuttle dropped us at the Lobby and our reservation was confirmed right away and our luggage taken care so we went straight into our 7th floor accommodation. The suite was well sized with ample room for our travel luggage and some more, There was good AC and a fan to help with moving the air. The bed was good and we saw partially the sea because of construction nearby. The hotel has 8 restaurants and a food court, 24 hours coffee and breakfast treats and a 24 hours bar. No booking in advance at the restaurants. Theater every night between 20.30 and 21.30. The hotels has 3 big swimming pools, bars and music at the pool side. And 2 towel stations, one in the separate kid's area. This area has a swimming pool, a mini golf, a castle and a climbing wall.

Relax in Cancun, Quintana Roo , Mexico

We've been to several all inclusive resorts and thought this one was okay. 

I would regret staying here if it was only my wife and me as the place is heavily geared towards families, but our kids (6 & 4) had fun. 

The food was the biggest surprise. Don't go expecting 5-star dining, but Seadust had the best resort food we've ever had. It beat other all inclusives we've been to, including places that were twice the price. 

We stayed in a family room and it was only okay. Get an odd numbered room to be away from the construction next door. You're in the Caribbean so things will be a bit musty; We found the rooms to be more damp than other resorts in the area. The room was generally clean, but missing a level of comfort. Multiple things were broken, including chipped walls with plaster falling off, a broken sink which they fixed, and a balcony door that didn't quite close all the way. It was hard to feel completely comfortable. 

Tons of restrooms throughout the resort, all super clean. 

Kids areas were pretty run down and depressing to the adult eye. We saw a kid slice his head open on something exposed at the pirate ship, requiring stitches. We decided to not come back after seeing that. Kids enjoyed the mini golf but it was old and in poor condition.

Good for kids and families

Spent two weeks here. Overall nice place. LOTS  of kids. Good beach as most of Cancun has. Friendly staff. Cleanest washrooms ever. Good variety of restaurants. Big Ben steakhouse was our favourite. We were given a lagoon view suite even though we had only booked a room. Very nice room but the air conditioning never worked properly even though we called twice to fix. Second day toilet started leaking across the floor. Called front desk and was fixed in an hour. Seventh day TV stopped working properly. Called front desk and fixed that evening. Jacuzzi tub on balcony was older but worked ok but it is VERY noisy on that side of building despite being on 11th floor. Some kind of ventilation system on ground floor that never stops. Fantastic view but too loud to sit out for long. 

Our biggest complaint was they did not supply bottled water other than the first day. I have never been to an all inclusive in Mexico that did not give you water every day. Complained about it but didn't change anything.

Will not go there again. Too many problems with things breaking. Too family oriented for a couple pushing sixty. Having to buy bottled water is just wrong.
