April 2019. We lived in apartments located near the main building. Everything was cozy and quite modern, while at the same time the charm of the ancient building was preserved. The breakfasts were very tasty, especially the pastitsi! The general atmosphere both in the hotel and around is wonderful!

The charm of the old quarter

We were in March 2023. We are very pleased. great room, great breakfast. Very good and quick contact with the owner. We will be back again.A wonderful place, a very good view from the window and a very well located hotel. Very close to the center.

The accommodation was very good clean and tidy and the staff were happy to do anything we required. The staff came into the room every day and changed everything making sure for example topping up the milk. We couldn’t fault the place.  No specific person stood out as everyone was very good at their job and the food including buffet breakfast we could choose anything off the menu. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about going. Would definitely stay here again. Location was also centre in the city and was excellent for us.

Excellent experience

The location of this hotel is very good, so everything is nearby also the view from the room I had was beautiful. My room was also spacious. The price was really affordable and the staff was kind. They were also very responsive.

Great place in excellent location 

Great location, bus station 10 minutes walk away. Many cozy restaurants, pubs near the hotel, and breakfast was delicious. 
Our street was quiet even it’s close to centre. We enjoyed every day here and hopefully will come back someday :)

Great vacation.

An excellent hotel in a wonderful part of town. The room had a wonderful view of the harbour. At night it was very quiet and peaceful allowing for a good night sleep. The hotel is a very short walk away from the centre up a few steps. Due to refurbishment we had breakfast supplied by a local cafe which again was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at.

Short break

Very good location, near to center, neat to port, near to bus. Everything what you need to feel gorgeous in Valletta! Great view, very clean and well done rooms, delicious breakfasts in resto next to hotel. Possibility to order a taxi from hotel to pick you from airport.

Great view, near to center

We were pleased with this accommodation, except for a few minor issues. 

Positives: Smack-dab in the old town, beautiful heritage building that is well maintained. The room was bright, tastefully appointed and very spacious. Good a/c, good strong shower, good firm mattress on the king bed. Breakfast was generous, but because the dining room was in refurbishment, we had it at a restaurant under the same ownership just up the street. 

Negatives: No reception, no response when dialing 9 from room to take care of a small problem (TV remote). Our taxi driver was apparently from the management, and he checked us in. Very pleasant and helpful he was too, but after that we were on our own. The child bed was particularly uncomfortable, two padded benches pushed together. Not enough counter space, and no hooks or towel racks in bathroom. Being in a narrow one-way dead-end street in the old town, it's a bit complicated for taxis to get there. On Friday night, the café below had a (very good) jazz band that sounded like they were playing right in our room until midnight. Not great for old farts or families with small kids. TV channels limited, but no matter with so much to see around town.

Prime location, comfortable, more rental than hotel

Liked  · Spacious studio: updated bathroom with plenty of towels (often stingingly provided). The WIFI was great. Excellent location a few steps from the sea and the Victoria Gate. Walkable to dining, entertainment, historic sights, stores, swimming coves, and the ferries if one wishes to get in a bit of exercise.
Disliked  · 1. Checkin was less than smooth. I took a taxi to the provided property address and after waiting around for a response I was finally directed to my room located about three blocks away (I wanted to avoid hauling luggage like that after a long flight). 2. The air conditioning wasn’t great so sleeping in a stuffy, ground floor studio unit without enough window breezes made for uncomfortable nights.

Long weekend getaway

We loved the hotel room, it was clean, tidy and had an individual style. The view from the window overlooking the port was delightful and would definitely request a port view next time. Our housekeeper was very kind and friendly and the small walk up the steps to the town for breakfast to the sister hotel/restaurant Luciano boutique was enjoyable in the morning, a small stroll before breakfast. 
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a choice of full English with toast and jam or continental. The staff were all lovely and made us feel very welcome .  We ate there in the evening too which we would recommend.
The hotel room is very convenient for ferries, bus station and town centre. 
We had clean towels everyday and our bed was made every day. The bed was soft but comfortable and the area was lovely and quiet at night/late evening (early june)  
Storage and hanging good and a picture of the the bedroom ceiling as my builder husband was in awe of it! 
Would definitely recommend and stay again.
