This place is a very good place to stay in Malacca! The location is perfect, close to the river, all the different sights that must be visited and the night market etc. The place itself is clean and comfortable. The rooms are big, with a sofa, a comfortable bed and enough space to keep your luggage. There is also an area where you can relax or have some food in the common area. And the staff is very helpful and lovely! 

This is a perfect place to stay and I'm very glad I chose this place for a few nights! Would recommend :)

Clean & Comfortable Home Stay

The place was clean and very homey.. The staffs are very accommodating... Rooms are big and very comfortable. Towels are provided.. Can accommodate more than 8 persons, ideal for big groups.. The tourist spots are just a few minutes' walk… The only downside of it is that it's a bit hard to find as it is located in a residential area away from the main road… But still, I will definitely recommend this to other fellow travelers. :)

Home away from Home! :)

Jean is extemely friendly and very helpful. I have "bothered" her numerous times before the trip on questions ranging from what she provides to Malacca places to go but she is always quick with her responses and always very patience. When I arrived, Jean was there to warmly welcome us. 

Her place looks like the photos and can nicely fit up to 8 person, thou i only had 5. No TV channels available but have a range of older movies (very nice to recall those movies of my younger days) and has a blue-ray player. So can buy DVD in Malacca to watch there too. There were 2 big container of water, that lasted 5 person for 3 days. 2 showers room, so no fight for us. 2 toilet bowls make "morning rush" an easy one.

Quiet enviornment, so no rude motorised sound at night. Except for some water running sound due to the air con, the place is fairly comfortable. Provided enough pillows for people who needs something to hug at night. Nice aroma lemon grass in every room. Although, i dont see anything bad or strange people hanging around, as i am not familiar with that place, night time can be a bit too quiet after a buzzling Jonker street.

Nice Place and location

the hotel has renamed as Malacca-Bali Dream Cottage.
And it is no longer having the whole house, but a shop lot. downstairs is cafe, and upstairs is accommodation.
the stairs is steep, had to be careful when going up or down.
the street noise is too loud, and also from the other guests..... basically through out the whole stay can't have a good sleep at any night. end up either wake up late, or back to room to sleep in the afternoon.

but really good that it is walking distance to jonker, a'famosa, dataran pahlawan mall...

I booked a whole homestay for our relatives who come over from JB to attend our wedding dinner.Owner called us at 2.30pm, and we inform that our relative will be reach soon! And once our relative reach in front of the homestay , I was trying to call the owner. But the number is out of service.Ok, fine I was trying to call for at least 40times in at least 1 hour , still can't get the owner ! And there is nobody inside the homestay! Our relative around 8 adult + a baby waiting the keys for an hour outside the homestay! I couldn't wait anymore cause our dinner is going to start and they need some rest, so I was looking for a hotel in Melaka at the most peak weekend ! At last I was so lucky to found it! And finally the owner called me! I was really really angry, and told that I booked another hotel and request for refund for the deposit ! The owner told me this is not their problem , because it's TM which is the Telekom Malaysia fault! Cause the line is out of service at that moment ! What a bad bad bad excuse ! And keep laughing when I was really angry and talking to her! And keep say that that's not their problem because I didn't inform them since I booked the others hotel ! I'm not willing that any refund anymore , but at least don't blame and give such a bad excuese! It's really terrible and the worst homestay I ever booked!
