Not recommended for family members especially when they have small kids and elderly together with the trip. Staircase is terrible high.  Prices for 2 nights at 
RM718.00  for this Family suites not worth!!  Not recommended!  Photos as attached! 
cons : 
1)Staircase is terrible and tidy. 
2) toilet is old, mould. 
3) mosquitoes in the family suites. 
4) dirty,  not clean and no air porution. 
5) no room cleaning for the next day. 
6) after 5pm there's no customer service, anything have to wait until next day after 9am.
7) Windows are old, spoiled not safe. 

Terrible Family Suites not recommended and not worth for the prices compare to others.

the place is excellent n convinent to all attractions place but a bit tricky to find, we ask the staff to send us a location n it took us about 30mins=4 round to get the details. overall is superb!

Comfortable stay

I got an email saying that my booking was cancelled because Ohana wasnt able to process my credit card. (credit card that I have been using for the past 10 bookings made since 2018-2019). just few minutes after i received that email i got another email stating that my booking is cancelled and I immediately tried to book the room again only to find out it was already fully booked. So dodgy! 

To make it worse, I called the Ohana and the lady who called (ezreena or something along that line) and she wasnt helpful at all. Didnt even wana work out a solution come up with better comforting words. All she said was "This booking.com problem not our problem".

Clean and lovely house but noisy environment even at 4am! Easy and convenient to Jonker street, within walking distance. Convenient store underneath open till 12am. However, need to register at HQ which is quite far. 

Short weekend gateway 

Didnt state in the description that the family suite in a 2 floor unit. Toilet and sink area is on the ground floor. Our bed is on the 1st floor. THE STAIRS ARE SUPER STEEP. It was hard for my 5 year old to climb up and down the stairs. Had to barricade the stairs so my 2y dont go down. It comes with a wooden plank u can close the stairs but still not safe.
Room is otherwise clean. Check in was a breeze. Our unit is right beside an abandoned lot so alot threw rubbish right beside our door.

Family suite not suitable for family

A quiet guest house in a renovated heritage building. The reception is in the curio shop on the street about 50 metres from the riverside, check in was flawless. My second floor room was large, very clean, and reasonably well appointed. A/C and Wi Fi worked well most the time. What would have been a nice touch is a desk/side stand placed under the TV where the only available plug in is located. It was necessary to unplug bedside lamps to recharge devices, and plug in the thoughtfully supplied kettle. There is a small clothes hanger, but I had to live out of my suitcase while I was there - no dresser or shelf space. A fridge and an in room safe were also items lacking. The security seems pretty good though, and the location is not dodgy at all. Ensuite bathroom was great, plenty of hot water and toiletries supplied. No breakfast service, but coffee and cookies available 24/7 in the hallway downstairs. Located very close to all the spots in Melaka a visitor would be attracted to, and a few minutes only on the pleasant river walk to the bus stop. Taxi from the Bus Sentral was MYR 20 at time of writing, and GRAB car came in at MYR 13. Staff were great, very friendly, and helpful. 

Quiet location, near the river walk 

Two weeks before arrival our booking was cancelled by the hotel. Supposedly because my brand new MasterCard did not work. They cancelled the booking and I tried to book the room again, but it was no longer available and 'sold' within seconds probably to a regular customer. Bad practice!

Terrible service

It's really a nice surprise. Very nice room, traditional and clean, attached garden. The only problem with the insects is the absence of the elevator to access the rooms on the second floor with suitcases.
