This is a review of the restaurant in the rehabilitation center. We were attending a chess tournament at the nearby Vanagupe Hotel. The tournament lasted 5 days and there are very few restaurants in the area. I was told about the restaurant (Kavine) in the Palangos Linas and decided to give it a try. We had the crunch chicken (Traškus vištiena) for 5.80  euros my son had the Spaghetti Bolognaise child's plate for 3 euro. We shared a Greek salad for 3.50. Food was excellent and the prices were good, particularly when compared to the prices of the Vanagupe Hotel. Strongly recommend it.

Restaurant: Good Food and Good Value

Palangos Linas is a large hotel cum rehabilitation centre situated in the outskirts of Palanga, close to the forest and not very far from sea (ca.15 min. on foot). Rooms are equipped with unpretentious simplicity, yet are not totally utilitarian. All bare necessities are present: bed is comfortable, linen and towels are immaculate, tea/coffee facilities, refrigerator, TV set, sufficient cupboard/storage area. Room was very clean, so was bathroom, though latter seemed a bit tired, and suffering from same problem as many Lithuanian hotels of economy class: bathroom equipment cheapish, outdated and therefore seeming on the verge of collapse. 
There is free parking for the cars of the residents. 
Breakfast is simple, not varied, but acceptable. On the whole, if comparing price/quality ratio with the other hotels in Palanga, PL seems to be a very good choice, unless one is seeking active night life. 
Negative points: for shops or other eateries you have to go quite a distance (or take a town bus).
The environs are a bit unkempt and weedy. They are amending this somewhat at present, so before booking, it is advisable to check whether some building/repair works are not going on, or it will be rather noisy.

Good, simple place

I've stayed in this hotel once and wasn't disappointed. It's cheaper than any other hotels closer to center, close to the beach, quiet and peaceful. Rooms are spacious and simply equipped. Free Wi-Fi is nice, but TV does not have a lot of channels. I did not use their wellness programs. Breakfast was good. I am planning on staying there again, I think this hotel is perfect for families and people who want to get away from the city's hustle and bustle and just relax in the beautiful and serene surrounding area (even if it's raining).

Good value/Peaceful

Very good health center in Palanga. We had good rest in a weekend. Good, pure rooms. Good water and health improving procedures, massage. Ordinary but tasty food during a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very kind, friendly and professional personnel.
I recommend.
