We loved this hotel! Yes, it's on the outskirts of Tokyo, but it's literally a few minutes walk to Shinagawa Station, which is SO MUCH easier to navigate than Tokyo central station. The hotel gardens are beautiful and are quiet reprieve from the bustle of Tokyo central. They have an awesome spa with a sauna, Jacuzzi, gym and even massage chairs! There was also a Jacuzzi in our spacious room, which I don't usually use in hotels, but this hotel was very clean and it sure felt good after walking those 15,000 plus steps every day! As lifetime Platinum Marriott members, we were able to enjoy the free breakfast and happy hour in the members lounge, which was wonderful! They had a large assortment of food and high end liquors to choose from, even though it never really changed and got a little monotonous after day 5. Yes the eggs were on the raw side, but they cooked additional eggs on request. You just have to be patient on the return. It was very much appreciated and enjoyed. This hotel is also located in close proximity to a hotel, which we unfortunately had to visit, but we always take travelers insurance so no worries there and it was REALLY cheap in comparison to US hospitals. On a side note, the emergency room doesn't open until 9:00 AM, (unless you are about to die!). So weird. The hotel staff are always eager to please. We have no regrets or complaints with this hotel and would definitely return and recommend it to others.
