We had a wonderful stay at KOKO hotel Asakusa Kappabashi, especially as a family traveling with young children. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, always ready with tips and advice to make our stay more enjoyable. The suite itself was perfect for our needs, featuring a washer/dryer, which was a huge bonus when traveling with kids. It made laundry a breeze and helped us keep everything fresh during our stay.The location was also ideal. Train stations were just a short 10-15 minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city and visit all the main attractions. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for families — comfortable, convenient, and equipped with thoughtful amenities that make traveling with young children much easier. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Japan!

The hotel is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood near Senso-ji temple. If you are looking to go shopping for housewares and kitchen knives, this kappabashi location is in the middle of it all. There are also a couple of grocery stores nearby which is great for the kitchen that is included with the room.

The safe was super kind and was able to assist with luggage forwarding.

We loved our stay at Koko, the staff was very friendly, the room was large (family suite) and we were located in a quieter part of Asakusa but close enough to the action that we could walk over for fun.  Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel. For our family of four, this hotel is ideal.  There is a kitchenette and washer/dryer which allows us to pack lightly since laundry can be done and utilize nearby grocery stores and convenience stores for easy meals. The location is excellent too.

Great location

Very nice and convenient location. Walking distance to the Sensoji Temple, Sumida River, Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, and many interesting shopping streets. Really appreciate the washer/dryer after spending 10 days in Tokyo. Also thankful for the free coffee at reception. Staff were helpful. Do note that there are 2 Koko Hotel Residences in the area and initially we went to the wrong one at Asakusa Tawaramachi!

Close but not super close to metro stations. However you can use taxis and is not expensive, to Ueno and even Tokyo station is a few thousand yens. The Hotel has the basics for apartment type property. It is worth it but not something that i would consider a must stay. Very quiet area and great for enjoying your shuteye time. Our kids loved the bunkbeds and having the washer/dryer unit was super convenient

This is a great hotel for a couple. Rooms are well organized, with a small kitchen, washer/dryer in the room, room to store luggage, and enough extra room for a couch and dining table. In ours, the toilet was in its own small room (a little tight to be honest, but very clean and not really a problem), and the bath/shower/sink in a separate room. The staff was generally very helpful, and provided maps, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc. They also had local SIM cards and subway passes for sale in the lobby. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, and a short walk to Ueno Station, Tokyo National Museum, Ueno Zoo etc.Highly recommended!

KOKO Hotel was a pleasant experience that’s strategically located between Kappabashi street and the Sensoji Temple. The area is filled with shops and eateries that can leave you with more than plenty to do in just the area alone. Access to local buses and transportation are within walking distance that can open you up to the vast city of Tokyo.The Japanese style room in KOKO Hotel was definitely a treat with the tatami mats. Rooms, especially higher up provide a nice view of Asakusa and the Tokyo Skytree. The staff were polite and respectful and also thoroughly explained ground rules and expectations upon checking in. Plenty of amenities are also provided in the lobby to assist your stay.Would definitely stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was spacious and even included a washer/dryer. The front desk staff were very friendly and assisted us with couriering our luggage to our next hotel. The only downside is that it's not very close to a train station. Taking an Uber to the nearest station, Tawaramachi Station, cost around ¥800.

Love love love this place - can’t say it enough. Rooms are spacious (for Tokyo) comfy and u have washer/dryer in the room!!! It is such an awesome location too. A couple of minutes to walk to 7-11 or other convenience stores and so many food options in the area, fantastic shopping. The staff was absolutely awesome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Best location.

The property was spacious compare to the other hotels I have been in Tokyo.  However, its quite a distance to walk from different train stations and even to the biggee convenient store.  Everything else was great, have a table inside the room, can layout my two luggages and being able to walk without issue.  Room were clean and design were nice.  Have laundry inside the room itself and can wash clothes overnight and no need to sit and wait at the laundry room.  Everything is keyless and secure code at the elevator so feels more safe  and secure.  Would definitely try their other facilities in other locations.

Overall, not a bad place to stay. Very short walk to the train station, which made it great for a base.Our rooms were small. But we only needed them for sleeping so they got the job done.The breakfast was well worth it. All you can eat with plenty of choices. The staff was friendly.There is a little Italian place around the corner on the backside of the building that has some pretty good pizza as well.
