Location: around 10 min walk with luggage from Takeo JR station, but under 5 min walk to the red Takeo gate (next to the onsen). Family convenience store is 2 min away. The bus to Ureshino stops near the hotel. Rooms: just a regular clean Japanese business hotel, with private air-con and no smoke smell (very important!). The beds were OK comfort, and internet was fast. Breakfast is Japanese style and served in a cafe adjacent to the hotel. The steamed rice included in the breakfast was by far the most delicious I tasted on this trip. The hotel staff was also able to communicate in English.
