Wow the guy below me with a 1 star review is correct. This place is not even a hostel. It's someone's apartment (3 bedroom) where those people who owns it actually LIVES there. There's no common area. Like what I said, it's a 3 bedroom apartment where they ridiculously put 5 bunk beds in each room. 1 bathroom and 1 shower. You have NO PRIVACY and they are very unprofessional. You're dealing with foreigner kids who's not even originally from JAPAN. Basically they are renting out their place. I'm complaining to the hostel world and hopefully have this place shut down.

Illegal Hostel! WORSE HOSTEL EVER!!

This is a ~60 sq. meter apartment with three bedrooms and a small living room and kitchen.     The 'dorm' room is a small bedroom with has 3 bunk beds and sleeps six.    Another is the 'private room' which has a single bed for one person.   The last is a private room which the staff use to crash in.  The common area consists of a small 4 person living room table and a small couch with a TV.    The 'staff' consists of 3 people who seem to live in the apartment and are constantly camped out in the common area and hanging out and laughing until after 1am.    One of them crashes on the couch sometimes.    None of the rooms have any type of locks or security and there is one shower and toilet for everyone resident, which at one point was 11 people.   The space is big enough to comfortably accommodate 5 at most.   I don't know Japanese zoning laws but this has to be a fire hazard and I wouldn't be surprised if they were operating illegally.   

There is no other way to describe this place other than as an overpriced three bedroom crash pad with resident tenants as staff.  If you're looking for a place to crash for a night then this might be workable but we left after two nights when we planned for 4.   There are far better, legitimate hostels in Osaka with proper facilities and in the same price range.

Crammed 3BR apartment masquerading as a hostel.

I stayed here for two nights in a private room as my flight landed in Osaka and I wanted a calm place to unwind and relax as I started my trip in Japan. I was super happy with my stay. Rens checked me in and was training another at the same time and they were both lovely and explained everything well. The next day I met Vania and Nikki who were both a delight to talk to while I ate my dinner in the common room. They had a great sense of humour and we had a few laughs and shared some stories. Everyone had good knowledge of Japan and could speak English and the place was kept very clean and tidy. It is a small place, but it has all the amenities you could need and is a nice quiet peaceful place to rest after a big day exploring the city. It is well located, although a little tricky to find initially (from the outside there is no signs so it's not obvious there is a hostel/guesthouse there) but it's not so hard that you can't figure it out with a little common sense. I felt very safe and comfortable there. No complaints, only a positive experience. Good relaxing atmosphere.

Very happy short stay.

Out of the 4 hostels I stayed at during my short trip to Japan, this one has been the best - and the cheapest. Several factors make this hostel an excellent choice for backpackers - besides the very  fair price (a) Only two bunk beds per dorm. This way you know who is who and the chances of having a loud snorer in the room are much smaller than in a larger dorm. (b) The location is very good - a metro station and several convenience stores are literally just around the corner, the fashion and nightlife quarter Amerikamura is a 4 min  walk away and the Namba station where trains depart for the airport can also be reached on foot. (c) What makes this place so special is the communal atmosphere. Folks cook in the kitchen and share food and drinks, the staff and the regulars are super friendly and as the hostel is so small everyone gets to know everybody by name. It's a pure pleasure to just hang out. This is largely due to the staff who deserve high praise (Bruno! Mike!) for keeping things perfectly neat and making everyone feel welcome.
I would most definitely stay here again.

Very good location, excellent value for the money, great people

This is a 2-bit operation. Moronic staff sent me an email questioning the authenticy of my name even though I had used a CC to book. Though I booked months in advance, a week before my trip they asked me to cancel because they had overbooked.
Shambolic.
