Chiharu was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. The hosts were wonderful with everything from helping us find ATMs and hot springs to returning our skis. The food was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was traditional Japanese meals with rice and half a dozen small dishes laid out for you. The rooms were comfortable with heaters and futon mats. The shared bathrooms were clean and the shared bathing area was very nice. This is a wonderful place that we will return to again.
