Tucked away in the quiet streets of Amino sits Morigen Ryokan, a family-run establishment run by the charismatic Mi-chan. There is a charming wooden bar, a surf shop, tatami and western rooms. There is also an extensive menu, izakaya-style as well as high-end kaiseki ryori, all prepared by the Mi-chan himself. If surfing is your thing, Mi-chan is up every morning at 5.30 to check on the surf, before coming back to cook a delicious japanese breakfast for guests. At night he will cook for you, play the guitar, serve you beer and sake in the bar. What more could you ask for?! Come and check out this wonderfully friendly and reasonably-priced ryokan
