If you want to stay remote, but very close to ski areas ==> THIS is a place to go. Right in a little sleepy village, close to a great onsen and hiting + skiing area this hotel makes a good spot to stay. Friendly staff!!! nice onsen in the little hotel. This hotel/ryokan gives you a very Japanese almost "home stay" feeling. It's a basic place but very cozy, clean and easy going.
