The rooms have a friendly owner and the hotel is in a good position for sightseeing, being in walking distance of most parts of the old town. The rooms are clean and smart and nicely decorated. All in all, great value for money.

If you need a nice hotel near the city centre and with a good relationship cost vs quality, this is your option. 
You will find functional rooms with nice bathroom  (obviously with not luxuries), and complete breakfast.

I have never, ever seen a better decorated hotel in my life. This place was classy. Humble, down-to-earth, but classy. Oozing with style. Every morning we woke up to delicious, jelly-filled croissants on the breakfast buffet, served in a room where you get to sit on these awesome little transparent stool things while you eat. Oh my god this place was pretty. The owner's taste in decor is equally matched by her taste in food, because every restaurant recommendation she gave us was a complete knockout.

Oh, and the wifi worked without any issues. That was a first.

Easily one of the best places we stayed in Italy

We stayed here for three nights last weekend and were truly impressed with our experience. 

It is immaculately clean and decorated to a high standard. We stayed in a small double room, with a well presented en suite. Our five towel set was changed after two days for a Ralph Lauren set, which perhaps illustrates the quality of the items within the accommodation. The bed was firm and I found it very comfortable. The shower was rain drop style with high pressure like a power shower. Our room was at the back of the building and there was no noise pollution, though I suspect as it is on a quite street therewould not be noise problems in any bedroom..

The host greeted us, she gave us a street map and offered advice on good value restaurants after asking what food we likes. It was very helpful. She offered us the W-IFI code if we wanted it. 

Breakfast is taken in the little hallway (see pictures with the fridge). You simply help yourself to juices/tea/coffee. The advert for the accommmodation says a sweet breakfast is offered. I wondered what this meant but it is a huge warmed jam filled croissant per person, an array of cakes/croissants all individually wrapped, cereal, choice of yogurts and fresh fruit. You coud probably eat at any time but we ate at 8am when the croissant were warm. She even did breakfast for us early one day as we wanted to get a bus into Slovenia.

Other facilites within include the provision of shower gel and soap; hairdryer and also a fridge with bottled water and even a couple of cokes and lagers from which you are able to help yourself at anytime. Free chilled bottle water is an absolute boon.

The location is just a few minutes from San Giusto, the Cathedral and the Roman Theatre and as a result the surrounding streets are sloping. It is not far from Piazza Unità d'Italia, about 5-10 minutes walk, I am not sure exactly as there were so many interesting things alond the way we never did the route directly!

if I was looking hard to criticise, I could see that some people wouldn't like eating breakfast on stools rather than chairs, the shower curtain tends to billow into the shower and perhaps being situated on a hilly street would not suit some tourists. However, for us all of these were unimportant compared to the quality of accommodation in a great location for an even better price. We paid only 55 Euros per night for the room and breakfast for two people. (booked through1bigeurope.com)
