Hotel Le Torri del Garda

Wow....just wow!! We knew we were in the right place from the second we walked in and were welcomed with friendly smiles! The truth is that the wonderful ladies on reception (Aurora, Luisa, Monica and Roberta) made a big impact on our holiday with insider tips (restaurants, ice cream, Vespa hire etc), friendly chats, helpful suggestions, booking things for us....the list goes on! We couldn't have asked for more....grazie mille to you all! As for the room (Grand Family Suite), it was very spacious, airy and well-equipped and it was really handy to be able to cook for ourselves using the double hob and microwave. The outdoor pool is lovely and big enough to find a sunlounger whenever we turned up. The kids enjoyed the facilities although the kids club was mostly for the younger guests (apart from the football that was great for all ages as there were two sessions). The indoor pool was always quieter and warm, but we mostly preferred to be outside. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and loved the breakfast buffet! The staff were so friendly, smiley and the food was great with a wide variety to suit all tastes! Add to that the fact that the hotel is in an absolutely beautiful location with fantastic views across the lake and the mountains during the day and we were also able to enjoy the starry night skies from the large terrace too. The location appealed to us as we could explore the region by car (I'd say a car is really handy but not essential if you don't want to venture out too much although we'd recommend Venice, Verona, the whole lake etc) and retreat to the peace and quiet of the hotel and still be able to walk a short distance down the hill to the village for dinner, a small shop or to catch the free navette bus to Torri for example. Overall, le Torri del Garda is a superb holiday destination and we all loved our time there....hoping to go back again next year!! 🇮🇹😎
